Could Howie have a draft that warrants him keeping his job?

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Howie could draft 11 circus clowns and Lurie would justify it.  That's what we are dealing with.

Here is a nice Yeboah highlight tape.  Great blocking, field stretching, route running.  He's 6-4 250.  80" wingspan compared to Kyle Pitts 83" wingspan.  They actually have the same arm length give or take a 1/4 inch.  He isn't the elite athlete that Kyle Pitts is but he's a darn good athlete to be an NFL tight end.

That article is worth it because of this video:

That's the dude I've been putting in my mocks.  I don't think he makes it to round 3 and wouldn't be surprised if he went late round 1

I don't understand why you have to see it on TV.  Who goes fully social media dark during the draft ??  There is so much going on and the networks do not address it appropriately.

And, Jets take Zach Wilson.

Suck it.

Well that's just childish

This is so much worse than what Howie has done. At least we got 3 playoff runs, 4 playoff wins and a SB by extending/overpaying vets. There is just not enough talk about the bad job Chris Grier has done. Conversely, Brian Flores winning with a bad roster is even more impressive.

Couldn’t remember if I posted this earlier.

All three were obviously bad contracts at the time too.

If it is on twitter and no one else has, I will post the picks.  Why does it matter??  Do you have to hear the commissioner say it to believe it ??  The sooner we know the sooner we can discuss firing Howie.

ruins the experience

Ugh, please no.  I wouldn't take Brandon Graham at 12.  NO.

I said it they day we traded down to 12.

Howie is looking at that deal and wondering if he can get that base salary converted into a signing bonus with voidable years.

Also, I like JOK and Collins better in terms of all around play and you can get those guys around 20.  Even Parsons can be had in a trade down from 4. I think the earliest he could go would be 7 and even that is too high for a LB in this draft.

Also that. Plus background issues with parson. I actually think atlanta is trying to trade out of 4. I think logically a team like Denver makes sense if they want a QB like fields.

Enough people are bothered by the spoilers that it seems like common decency to wait until it’s announced on TV.

Yes, the networks don't do it justice...   But I still live in the 1980s... maybe the 1990s.  Let me have my delusions.

How do you post here on a flip phone?

He tests well too.  He's above the 85th percentile for vertical, broad and 40.

Not really shocked considering Graham is getting older. Barnett could be gone next year and they have sweat who’s a good rotational guy. It’s a need however I’m betting there’s going to be better talent on the board. Should be interesting if they take paye if smith or waddle or horn or surtain is on the board. Could legitimate either get a Graham situation or what you saw last year with jefferson.

If you're Howie, leaking that you love Paye is smart. Picking anyone else will be appreciated by the fan base.

I still think Paye is really the only option in a trade-back.

Did I read Paye's college info right, he had 2 sacks last year?

Paye or Barmore

I see 3% of the votes so far are in favor of  him as a pick at #12

Paye or Fields are the worst possible options

Paye would be up there in terms of buzz kills.

I was only going to drink beer on Thursday night. Guessing I need to up the ante.

Help me, Dave Gettleman. You are my only hope.
