If he stays healthy he's gonna be a dominant C for years, and this will be a slam dunk pick. I get the if, but sometimes you roll the dice.

He's a first round talent except for the injury history.

Probably because the last time we drafted a guy coming off a major injury in the second round he never recovered. Wasn't that long ago

Clearly you are missing the injury history of the pick.   That is the reason people are upset.  It's not about the player, it's about how often he's not on the field.

Just from a strategic perspective, we DON’T need immediate starters. We aren’t one or two players from winning the super bowl. We need long term blue chip talent. We’ll see if this kid can stay healthy. If so, should be a good pick.
