I did a lot of mocks where Jamie Newman was staring at the Eagles at their #150 pick .... not hearing anything about him recently, so maybe a UDFA?

I doubt Gannon waltzed in and have taken over the draft. 

Everyone says that the bottom of the draft is weak. If we can trade away for picks next then great. I know that means we'll have big holes for next year but we'll have those anyway. That's fine. It's a rebuild.

That said, if everyone knows the bottom of the draft is weak then finding a trade parter or getting any value will be tough.

I think yeah it is. Look we all react to picks. I did to the Dickerson pick and I did to the Smith pick. But we do have to wait and see.

So what’s the point of keeping him? We already saw what an unmotivated Ertz looks like last year, what do you think a disgruntled, unmotivated one will be? And then he kills whatever comp pick you can get if you even get one since they should be more motivated next year in FA. Take the highest offer and move on.

People forget we have an entire new coaching staff. That can make a big difference in the success of a player if put in the right situations/scheme. Doug's biggest problem was he wanted players to change to fit his style instead of the other way around and building schemes around your teams strengths

I don’t mind the pick. Springy athlete with some sticky quickness, shows upside on the field.

Nothing wrong with that for 4th round position of need.

If Howie would have traded back a few picks with Dickerson I think more people would have been on board with it. You are right we do have to wait and see. I'm hopeful.
