I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Are the same guys that said it was dumb to trade for 6th round picks because there is no talent later in the draft the same guys that are complaining about the Eagles not picking certain guys late in the draft?

To be fair, this year's draft class was reduced from a normal number of draftable players as a one year extension was granted due to the pandemic. Next year should have a greater than normal number of draftable players in it. They might be wise to trade some late picks into next year for better draft position. Just a thought.

I’m pretty surprised we didn’t use any of those late picks to move up. The board looks pretty barren.

Who are those guys? I apparently don’t follow them.

Off the top of my head Kiper and SN didn’t have him anywhere close to top 100.

Some of these guys must have never played a sport or worked in a competitive environment.  Both the 1st story about the "argument" and this clip (congratulating) happen all-the-time...in sports, in business, in sales, etc etc.  I know these guys like the clicks but can we stop beating a dead horse already?  Thanks.

I was wrong. Thought for sure he’d say John Brown.

What is SN?

What's the deal with Marvin Wilson dropping? Most had him locked in the 3rd

6th round is under way!!!!!

Buckle up! This will probably be the most exciting 60 minutes of Philadelphia Eagles football in 2021!!!!

We have so many picks coming up and the chances of any materializing is extremely low

Still 9 players on my short list, so we are in good shape. Thats just the short list. i have others I can be fine with as well.

It's surprising we haven't seen more trades across the league based on this principle. Maybe it has the opposite effect, where teams are more reluctant to trade next year's picks compared to this year's.

I’ve been waiting. My sleepers are now in play.

So with the Dickerson pick, is Kelce considering retiring? He potentially on the move?

If Kelce is back, Dickerson is probably an upgrade over Seumalo

I disagree.  There is plenty of guys left.  Just gotta pick the right ones.  Tay Gowan, Damar Hamlin, Alaric Jackson all would be great picks by the Eagles.

Pointing out that smart analysts with real NFL connections like McPhearson is no guarantee that he will be good. Most Day 3 players fail. Any dummy can say a Day 3 player will fail and in all likelihood be right.

The point is that the Eagles didn’t draft some nobody who has no talent. Get a grip.

One would think a first team all-conference player from a P5 conference must have at least some skill, right?

Haven’t read the Sporting News since the internet became a thing. They used to have a great draft magazine.
