I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

He and Embiid could hit the buffets together if he came here.      That is not a bonding experience for a basketball team though.

He was in Vegas before the season could only imagine how many times he hit the buffet as long as they were still open

The Sixers are trying to trade for Harden? Wow ok. Why would they even contemplate their first round pick who's made an impressive start in his rookie year though?

Thank you Brooklyn, I'd rather package Scott, Bradley, and a 2nd rd pick and get a solid backup 3 & D forward who can guard guys like Tatum.

Once this team gets healthy, with the progress of Milton, Thybelle, Maxey and now Rice, heck, Korkmaz could be trade bait as well.

I think Maxey is going to be a star in a couple years, once he works on his outside shooting and learns how to play defense (the flesh is willing but the inexperience shows).

Its ok.  The trade broke within the last couple hours. Its not like it was yesterday's news.  How dare you respond to a 2 hour old tweet.

Ah... Joe is so clever.  He's saying that the Eagles will be hiring a "yes" man.

Eloquent.

Hope the Eagles don't land Saleh.

I’m warming up to the idea of Robert Saleh; he’s an impressive guy to listen to and he’s been very successful as an NFL DC so far.   For the Eagles specific set of circumstances, though, I think it’s imperative the Eagles find the right head coach to run the offense as the highest priority.

Translation — Saleh will likely be signed to become the Eagles head coach by tomorrow morning.  😂

I would be absolutely stunned if we hired a defensive-minded HC. Lurie is obsessed with having a top offense. That’s hard to do consistently with a defensive HC, as they have to replace these top OCs who leave as HCs.

Highly doubt they sign anyone by tomorrow. They wont be the first team to sign a coach and only after only 72 hours of firing Doug :) I still think the coach they want is still in the playoffs and they are forced to wait. They are just filling in time with interviewing as many as they can now.

Ironically, had to do it after Chip flamed out, and Doug lost his OC.

Whoever it is please let them learn from their mistakes and not repeat them over and over again and again

Yep, although Pederson wasn’t thought of as an offensive genius when we hired him.

Saleh is going to turn the job down when he see's how we value LB'ers.

He still isn't

I also don’t trust them to find an OC that’s innovative and creative to come here. It’s not like they’ve done a spectacular job since reich left. Groh and the crap show they had last year as a group

This is very simple.

If their new HC is Daboll or Bieniemy or Saleh...say what you want about those guys, but they are the most coveted 3...then all this panic was a little overblown.  Either no one was that worried about Howie/Lurie or money talks, which is the same thing.

And if they hire someone completely off the radar who is just happy for the job, you'll know that's a combination of all they could get and exactly what they want to exert control over the HC.

I think I'm in the minority, but I'd love Saleh. I grew up in the Buddy days and I'd love to get this defense into the top 3. Heck, why can't we even be 1?? I'd let Saleh do what he wants to build a devastating defense and bring in one of the niners guys to run the offense and run the ball, more than what we do and consistently. I'd be ecstatic.

But, he was an offensive coach.  So, you would expect more offensive stability as long as the HC stays.

With the current NFL rules, is that possible though? Are the rules not set up to reward good offense and neutralise good defense?

Time to get on the Saleh sleigh.
