Howie in the season ending PC was grilled about his drafting, contracts, etc. and he gave the same old "we have to do better and that starts with me" answers. Let's hope Lurie is more honest and open. When is he doing a press conference?

Would the brain trust still be good or would Doug have been too cocky New norm.... Quarterback factory... it’s a microcosm of the Gold standard. There’s nothing new here.

January 11, 20214 yr Some of you are comical. "DOUG SUCKS!" "GOOD PLAY CALLING MORON!" "DOUG NEEDS TO GO. HES RUINING THE TEAM!" "DOUG NEEDS TO GIVE UP PLAYCALLING AND GET AN OC OR ELSE HE NEEDS TO GTFO" - Gets fired - "WENTZ IS BEHIND THIS! NO ONE WANTS TO COACH THAT POISON!" 😆

January 11, 20214 yr I keep reading thst Doug partly deserved to go for not telling Wentz what was going on when he was benched, I know he went to a small school but Wentz would have to be denser than kryptonite to not understand that he'd been benched and why he'd been benched. I think a few of the Wentz huggers may be somewhat disappointed by just how little effect 'better' coaching has on a 5 year vet QB who stunk as bad as Wentz has this last season.
January 11, 20214 yr When chip Kelly was sacked after a losing season it felt justified. He was given sufficient power to hang himself and the team stopped fighting. This one feels a lot different. The team always played hard for Doug and it seems he was never given the power that a head coach really should be given. If it’s really the Lurie and Howie show then what difference does it make changing coaches?
