Maybe he wants to let the next coach decide. Letting Sirianni make the decision would go a long way in shutting up the folks saying that Lurie is being too controlling.

With all the players lobbying for him to the HC job I don't know how you can keep him in the locker room. Players wanting Duce to be HC might not give the new HC all their attention.

January 22, 20215 yr I’m hoping for Gannon as DC. OC Anthony Lynn would be a solid choice, brings an experienced voice to the room and Sirianni worked under him for the Chargers.

January 22, 20215 yr Id like to see them bring in someone like Mayo as DC. I think perhaps that's why they brought him in to interview for HC? Get an early look at him with the potential of hiring him as DC.
