Any crimes after the election aren't impeachable because the president is on his way out anyway.

December 21, 20213 yr Republicans could acknowledge the truth about Biden's legitimate victory in the 2020 election. But GOP candidates realize it's a net loser on the campaign trail. 🤡🌎
December 24, 20213 yr As inept as the Dems are right now (maybe at all time levels of ineptness), if you can’t campaign in a way that acknowledges the election, I’m not sure how you break through into the moderate voting base.

CRT scare tactics. You notice now that the VA race is over Republicans magically don't care about it anymore? Republicans have a 3-foot thick binder of those cultural boogeymen they can break out at any time.

December 26, 20213 yr The righties are flipping out after 45 said the vaccine works. Alex Jones turned on him last night. Candace Owens says 45 is just too old to be able to find the REAL news about the vaccine. I did read MAGA would eventually leave 45 behind. Looks like it is continuing.

I’d say leaving him behind is necessary, but doing so because he’s acting too rational wasn’t what I expected.

What made Trump a danger to the nation is that he specifically courted the crazy wing of the party. He continued to do so, viewing them as useful idiots that he could wield as a weapon against opponents (political or otherwise) through thinly veiled threats. Why it's so dangerous is that he never had control over the crazy. He was justing using them, but now they think they are the righteous embodiment of what it means to be "American," because they were told for four years not only that's exactly what they are, but that the "others" are an enemy and a threat to them. We've never seen a sitting president actually sow discord while presiding over (ostensibly) the nation. He spent four years blaming Democrats and those few on the right who "defied" him, eagerly siccing his supporters on them. His presidency has done far more to divide the nation than anything the Dems have ever done. There's no equivalency, regardless of the sins of even the most radical Dems.

The right wing media has convinced the morons to be angry and hate democrats for YEARS before trump. They flocked to trump because he was loud, angry and told them the same thing Fox News and now newsmax and Oann are telling them. The networks do it for ratings and profit, the morons are brainwashed because they are morons. This sheet show ain’t going away with trump. In fact, it may get worse if an actual competent psychopath takes the reigns.

I think Desantis will be in there but I also think the party would be desperate to try to generate some appeal via a Tim Scott or Nikki Haley that at least look different even though they sound the same. It would make CRT stump speeches more interesting if they were being delivered by Tim Scott.
December 27, 20213 yr Unless he’s dead or in jail, Trump is going to announce sometime in 2023. The republican primary will be cancelled. Take it to the bank.

December 27, 20213 yr Can’t wait for Trump to have a PoC as his running mate and refer to them as his "beautiful little minority friend” at a rally.
