May 13May 13 Author here's a fun one.the /r/conservative subreddit, if you're not familiar with it, is very much engineered as an echo chamber. every post requires that you have "conservative flair" on your account, and to get that "flair" you have to essentially prove to the mods that you're "truly conservative". and any comment deemed "liberal" is sufficient to have said flair revoked by mods. the news? this sub has lost about a million subscribers in the last month, going from about 1.7M subscribers to 745k at the moment.are people fleeing conservatism? not exactly.an analysis of the subreddit's subscriber base a few months back revealed that two users were responsible for 30 to sometimes 50% of the new posts in the sub on any given day.a follow up on that analysis added a third poster to that tally, making it very clear that there was a "coordinated influence" operation happening.circumstantial evidence correlating a power outage in Moscow to a drop in activity suggested that some of this may be coordinated by Russia.but this purge? it's a purge of Russian bot accounts amplifying the messaging."russia hoax" my ass.

Does anyone in CVON actually make well constructed arguments in favor of actual Trump policies? TEW is the only one I can think of who tried, but his arguments were so severely retarded, you couldn't take them remotely seriously. "Getting rid of all the illegals will bring the price of housing down" was my personal favorite. The others just cheer everything Trump does, and when he does something really outrageous like steal directly from the tax payers, or protect Pedos the most we get from them is "lol you're mad" and "you have TDS".
