Exactly what I was talking about, after Larry Hogan's comments on Sunday. Also, Hogan and Steele are pretty moderate; the types of Republicans that get steamrolled by the red state machine in conservative states. They'd have no voice if they weren't from blue state Maryland.
May 10, 20214 yr Trump is a symptom of what the republican party has become. He was the loudest and angriest candidate on stage during the 2016 republican primary. Right wing media has been pumping fear and anger into their voting base for 30 years... they just keep getting louder and angrier, taking it one step further than the person before them. Trump will go away, and most likely be replaced by someone louder and angrier. Abortion will still be legal, no one will take anyone’s guns away, there still won’t be microchips in vaccines, nobody will spread fairy LGBTQ dust on the entire country, rich people will still have all their tax loop holes, poor people will still collect welfare while the working middle class pays for it all.
May 11, 20214 yr My Name is Elsie Stefanik. I am here to serve Trump. I am programmed to say and do what ever Trump tells me to do.

May 11, 20214 yr After voting to impeach 45, getting ostricized by the MAGA members of his family, Adam Kinzinger is still fighting the good fight. This guy has balls of steel. https://www.cnn.com/2021/05/10/politics/adam-kinzinger-liz-cheney/index.html Quote Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger on Monday came to the defense of soon-to-be-ousted House GOP conference chair Liz Cheney, arguing their party is poised to remove her from the influential post because she has consistently said former President Donald Trump is responsible for the US Capitol insurrection. "She is being run out for one thing: her consistency. She said the exact same thing that (House Minority Leader) Kevin McCarthy said on January 6, which is Donald Trump is responsible" for the riot, Kinzinger said at a virtual event hosted by the National Press Club.

Not directed at you but I wish would all just stop talking about the most egotistical president this country probably has ever had. He loves that people talk about him. Good or bad makes little difference to him. the sooner we stop bringing him into our discussions and debates the sooner he goes away.

May 11, 20214 yr Loser! Sad! Quote Trump's blog isn't lighting up the internet Social media data collected by NBC News found little engagement with the posts, which hints at the effectiveness of deplatforming. May 11, 2021, 8:50 AM EDT / Updated May 11, 2021, 8:56 AM EDT By Brandy Zadrozny Four months after former President Donald Trump was banished from most mainstream social media platforms, he returned to the web last Tuesday with "From the Desk of Donald J. Trump,” essentially a blog for his musings. A week since the unveiling, social media data suggests things are not going well. The ex-president’s blog has drawn a considerably smaller audience than his once-powerful social media accounts, according to engagement data compiled with BuzzSumo, a social media analytics company. The data offers a hint that while Trump remains a political force, his online footprint is still dependent on returning to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The Desk of Donald J. Trump is limited — users can’t comment or engage with the actual posts beyond sharing them to other platforms, an action few people do, according to the data. Trump’s new blog has attracted a little over 212,000 engagements, defined as backlinks and social interactions — including likes, shares and comments — received across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Reddit. Before the ban, a single Trump tweet was typically liked and retweeted hundreds of thousands of times.
