Howie should see if Jax is willing to deal Yannick today.  Offer them our 2nd. We are going to need a good defense to deal with Dallas.

If this forum is ready to go for the Draft I say we post here and not on that 'other' site.  Leave it an effing ghost town so the Eagles PR/marketing team can see what they're missing out on with most

Howie needs to stop the other 31 teams from participating in the draft!

Yeah. Gotta find a willing partner that's not asking for a king's ransom. We don't know what Atlanta asked when Howie talked to them, but it could've been far too much to say yes to.

Honestly think Howie was trying to keep #53 no matter what. Thats the only logical thing I can think of. You can tell Atlanta did not go into the draft hoping they would draft AJ terrell at #16

So apparently Derek Gunn said the Eagles shopped Rasul Douglas and Andre Dillard in an attempt to move up and teams passed on both. If it’s true then it’s kind of an eye opener on several levels. First the Eagles traded up to get Dillard and they’re already dangling him in trade packages. Second teams don’t think much of Andre Dillard or Douglas for that matter. Third Howie signs Jeffery to guaranteed money only to soon put him on the trading block and now drafts Dillard; moved up to get him and now a season later is willing to trade him? On top of that the Eagles picked a polarizing player this year that some think the Eagles could have traded back to get anyway. Should we be concerned about out GM?

Who’s he playing against though?  Certainly not elite level talent.  it’s too early to call anyone a bust obviously so I’m not doing that.  But what I don’t like is that we took him over a guy who had an elite ab throwing him the ball in a better conference against better opponents.  I think that translates better to the nfl.  In fact it might speak more volume than if Reagor dominated and put up amazing stats vs lesser opponents.  I guess I’m tired of howie continually taking the not so obvious pick trying to prove he’s smarter than everybody.  I don’t buy the "he would have been taking a few picks later” BS he put out there.  Yeah he might have been but that doesn’t mean you have to get him.  Just My 2 cents.

with this logic you must have thought Jordan Matthews would be a hall of famer

Was watching NFLN and Joe Burrows mom can get it. Sexy looking milf with a nice arse

Again, if this is true Howie Roseman should be on the hotseat. How the hell do you trade up for a OT in 1st round when the reports are that Eagles didnt even meet with Dillard during the draft process. Dillard stated he had no idea the Eagles were interested because they didnt meet with him.

They better make a splash and make it quick. Last night was their chance and they failed

Maybe teams asked for Dillard as part of a deal. I don't think the media always gets these things right. If the Eagles want to move Dillard, then I'm pretty sure the Eagles would've gone OT in Round 1 or moved to a place in the draft to get a starting caliber OT.  Their past philosophy would indicate that OT would've been the option. So, I'm not buying that the Eagles are trying to get rid of him.

Me neither, there is no way they would show him around and not have a contingency plan in place. I think he performed decent on the left side last year... He showed some flashes over there, the right side however was an unmitigated disaster.

I'm hoping tonight is a big improvement over last nights fiasco. Safety or LB!

Now that I’ve had time to cool off, let me preface this with I’ve been reading about Reagor for weeks thanks to an internet scout, Chris Mallee, and was excited at the thought of Reagor/JJett/or Aiyuk being available. Recent news involving DAL had me scared he’d go as high as them (maybe they were thinking Rd2) and was praying he’d be there for us. I’m one of the many that would’ve been fine had Lamb went to ANYONE else. That said, to follow the post above.........

Yeah, thought I had heard a lot of buzz for ATL wanting to move up not knowing if Henderson would’ve been available, but what’s done is done. I hate the pressure that’s now on two or more players with picks that could’ve = One probable #1 WR.

If we trade up in Rd 2 to get another receiver and neither touch CeeDee’s production, good grief it’s all we’ll hear about!  We’re still talking about Earl Thomas...STILL!

Or, we stand pat and trust the evaluators who have brought in reliable hauls over the years. Naturally, we’ll do the (and it’s been pushed around these boards and the media already) comparison of "Was Reagor + whoever” worth not risking a package to acquire a guy that universally is believed to have a huge impact for his team moving forward, and the icing on the cake is we’ve got the pleasure of facing him with a team that’s torched us at the position since Dez’s rookie year.

Reagor will end up being a star and I’ll look back and laugh at this. Also, I’m in the group of  "get who you want” so reagardless of trade options, if this was the plan at #21 then so be it and don’t get cute. The Seahawks do this every year, we laugh, and it always seems to work for them. Jefferson was the easy pick, but clearly they had a type.

id say Safety and/or WR. i think you have some decent LBs in the 4th round.

DG has a pretty good relationship with the Eagles brass. It could just be the Eagles trying to light a fire under Dillard. Could be other teams asked about Dillard or it could be other teams said thanks but no thanks. In any case it seems the Eagles did try to move up and were either unwilling to give up enough to make the move or weren’t willing to part ways with what they think they have. In either case the Eagles painted themselves in a corner because everyone knew what they needed and were trying to fleece them out of everything they could. Seriously couldn’t have come up with a better trade than the crap the  Cardinals gave up Hopkins?

Heard the Eagles liked a lot of players. Heck Eskin said they were drafting a linebacker. With that being the case it really isn’t that difficult to for a reporter to find out who’s shopping what player.

If they were shopping him why as an eagle reporter report it??? Its not like its going to raise his value.

Why does he need a fire lit under him. Because he practiced RT for like a day then wasnt good at it???

He was solid at LT last yearci thought he played better than Peters at times at LT.

Trading him a year after trading up for him in the 1st the prior year makes zero sense. Sounds to me like people making crap up to generate news and chatter.

Having said that im going to look real dumb when he gets traded tonight😄

The Eagles don’t have to report it for the news to get out there by the way. If the Eagles did report it well he did play poorly at RT and you haven’t watched him practice so maybe they want more. We saw earlier in the year the head coach saying he wanted Peters back. That’s not a rousing endorsement for the abilities of Andre Dillard no matter what you spin doctors think. Trading him after moving up does make little sense, but so does guaranteeing the contract of Alshon Jeffery only to then put him on the trade block! Like I mentioned earlier should we be concerned about our GM?

Other than the jeffrey move every thing else is conjecture and hyperbole.

I'd say safety. they got to cover Cowboys WRs somehow.

If we could get Wentz half of what they get Dak he would be MVP.

That's the most frustrating thing isn't it! Wentz doesn't need what Dak does in my opinion but he deserves more than he's had.
