That's the most frustrating thing isn't it! Wentz doesn't need what Dak does in my opinion but he deserves more than he's had.

Can you imagine what he could have done with a Ruggs, Jeudy or Lamb?

If this forum is ready to go for the Draft I say we post here and not on that 'other' site.  Leave it an effing ghost town so the Eagles PR/marketing team can see what they're missing out on with most

Howie needs to stop the other 31 teams from participating in the draft!

I'd like to see the Eagles take Antoine Winfield Jr in the 2nd if he falls. Think he has long-term S/CB written all over him and he is a true ball hawk.

I mean I'm not going to give Howie much ish for not trading up because we don't know the details. Perhaps nobody was willing to trade as they liked how things had fallen. But it feels like a missed opportunity with Lamb.

There are some rumors we could have had Atlantas spot for our Second rounder. Might have been worth it.

See I think that's too steep. Look at the talent still on the board.

Would have cost a lot to move up ahead of the Cowboys. And any team offering to trade with us would have known that and had that leverage. We would have had to overpay instead of paying the already high cost of moving up that many spots.

I do think the Cowboys got the best WR in the 1st round, but who knows how that will actually play out.

Eagles incredibly smart not taking Jefferson.

Cheer up dude. We're about to see what he does with Reagor! I'm pretty excited the possibilities because I believe Reagor will be dynamic.

Guess it depends on what we do with it lol.

Has there ever been a fan consensus agreement on an Eagles 1st round pick?

I know your excited lol. I'm over the anger and am in the eh stage. If we had gotten one of those 3 I would have been running around cheering.

Wentz was pretty close.

Probably not.

Seems most of us are pissed off every year. Or maybe it is the same group that is pissed off every year.

Ya but no official meeting with the staff at combine and no official visit. Stuff you would like to do with someone you are drafting in the first round

Wentz and Johnson? Maybe Cox and DJax

Wentz, Lane Johnson, Fletcher Cox were all very very popular.

Djax was a 2nd round pick

DJ wasn't a first rounder. I can't recall people hating on Cox, and I remember even less about Lane, but I do recall when they traded up to #2, there were many that thought neither Goff or Wentz were worth trading up for, and that they should have waited for the 2017 QB class instead.

If memory serves me correct, a lot of fans wanted Eric Fisher that year. Lane Johnson was technically the "3rd Best" OT. Eagles lucked into Johnson similar to Embiid with the Sixers.

Cox, some wanted Poe, some wanted Luke but no one was really upset over Cox.

Lane was the 4th pick. There were a few Dion Jordan lovers but again no one upset.

The two worst I can think of were Smith and Watkins. I don't think this pick will be that bad but i don't think it's our finest moment either.

You're right but I didn't catch the 1st rounder part. I know Maclin was one of the top receivers and he fell in our lap. Everyone should've been happy with that pick to give us 2 legit WRs after years of Freddy, Pinkston,  Lewis, and other scrubs. McNabb had his "weaponzzzz!"

Yeah, I don't recall any hating on Cox or Lane.

Yes Everyone was happy with Maclin, esp after Al Davis reached for Hayward Bay

I remember watching Smith's highlights and thinking that he didn't even look good in the highlights video.
