We need to get thru another three to four weeks and maybe a couple more beyond that to really know. One thing that "seems" to be the case is that places who've had less burn so far are being hit harder with cases. While there are some varying reports, the majority of evidence out there shows the following ranking in terms of protection with #1 giving the most protection. People in the #4 group plus those with special high risk conditions being the vulnerable with regard to Omicron: 1 - combination of fully vaccinated and having natural immunity from previous exposure 2 - natural immunity from previous exposure but no vaccine 3 - full vaccination but no prior exposure 4 - no vaccine and no prior exposure
