It's an interesting study that, while underpowered, suggests that for some reason mitochondrial DNA is selectively and reversibly down-regulated in certain tissue lines during COVID infection. 

Getting from there to "Vitamin C make COVID better" is a MASSIVE reach. You'd have to demonstrate that the down regulation of mtDNA increases oxidative stress, AND that that's beneficial for COVID replication, AND that Vitamin C reverses that effect.  Which that study demonstrably does not do.

Go ahead and take vitamins. It's not gonna hurt. And yeah if you have scurvy that sure as hell isn't going to help  But maybe also take things we actually work too. Especially if you're not a pirate who goes months in end without encountering an orange. 

And don't take unproven antiparasitics for a virus, because that's just silly Lil Sebastian.
