It's a tough call. I listened to it being discussed as an option on podcasts a month or so ago by pundits from both sides. The question came down to whether they thought it'd be a good allocation of both tax dollars and tests given that at the time Omicron hadn't really started to show its face.

Hindsight is 20/20. Had Omicron not emerged the right would probably have been criticizing Biden for wasting tax dollars and feeding Covid fears.

I'm still not certain it would have been the right thing to send them all out even knowing what we know.

We got the call 2 days after Christmas last year that my niece had covid.  Don’t need a repeat of that BS.

But isn't the easiest way to stop the spread of the virus at first detection? Get tests in the hands of the citizens to do this.

How many billion are they wasting on expired vaccines or these new Pfizer pills that they agreed to a 10 billion dollar contract.

The last administration completely gutted our response plan to a pandemic right before covid happened lmao.

We’re so far beyond preventing the spread.  That ship sailed 2 years ago.  The focus should be on lessening the effects and keeping people alive which the vaccines do quite well, and the pills will hopefully do the same.  There’s no stopping the spread at this point.

The Spanish Flu did not end World War I and it did not start in 1917.  I think Trump has said this like 100 times now and he is still wrong every time.

Stop just stop. This administration is a year in and still reacting instead of being proactive.

The last administration literally raped our response plan to a pandemic right before we had a pandemic. I don't need to stop ish. Why were you not outraged over that?

That's not a good take.  Common sense tells you that with a virus like this, outbreaks are going to get worse during the winter.

I'm outraged? I get tired of each and every administration blaming previous administrations. I don't care if it was Trump or is now Biden. The buck stops with the President.

I guarantee the Brookings Institute in DC had multiple plans already written and ready to go prior to Biden becoming President.

It was first discovered in the Spring of 1918, so it likely started in 1917.

if you say so. It likely started in the heartland and American soldiers brought it to Europe. But also the influx of American soldiers fighting in Europe is what changed the tide of World War I and forced the Germans to surrender.  They didn’t surrender because they were getting sick.

The pandemic didn't start during Bidens admin though. A lot of those plans (like the one Trump had trashed before the pandemic started) you are speaking of needed to be brought into play immediately. I do agree more should have been done when this all started.

It's funny though, I don't remember you complaining "more needs to be done" last spring.

For all the bishing about who should have done what perhaps we should focus on who should have done nothing.

If they didnt build the Fing virus the rest would be moot.

Probably Fauci, Gates, Rothschild, Epstein who isn't really dead, and now Trump because he told people to get vaccinated.

Don’t forget Biden who wasnt even president at the time conspired to develop a deadly global virus so that he can win presidency and a bunch of Karen’s could win mayor of their small towns.

Technically us.

No, I can’t say that I had any part in building a virus, nor do I think you’re qualified or capable of it.  So I ask again, who is they?

Certainly did. We funded it.

Of course you could hold on to belief that the outbreak coincidentally occured "naturally" in the town of a level 4 bio lab. One the US is funding

Are you seriously one of the lemmings who believe this was a naturally occurring virus that so conveniently appeared during a rabidly contested U.S. presidential election?
