Oh, a l California physician.  Well, he has a blue check so he must be the authority.  Oh, and there's a graph too!

There have been a few here, and quite a few of their family members (yours truly included), who contracted Covid in this latest wave.  We are all fine, thank you.  But let's nevertheless get into a fear induced frenzy brought on by the psychopaths on this thread.  Great idea!

No you Missouri Fox Trotter, the individual risk from omicron is low for vaccinated/boosted individuals. For them, yes the disease is mild. But unfortunately we live among a death cult in this country where nearly 40% are still not vaccinated so for them, it's not quite so mild. Which means hospitals and healthcare systems pushed to the brink again and burn out for those workers still very much an issue.

WGB's identity has been revealed,  Keith Olbermann has secretly been an Eagles fan for years.  People like you are part of the problem.  You're demented.  What is commonly referred to as a useful idiot.

Did it ever occur to you that you just have a cold, and that YOUR test was faulty?

Feel better soon!  Glad it's mild.

Two of our three kids (who were vaccinated several months ago) ended up with COVID over the past couple of weeks. Wife and I were boosted a month ago and we never tested positive or felt any symptoms. Youngest received his 2nd vax shot around the same time and had the same experience.

Recent vaccine/boosters seems to have done its job.

Have you tried ivermectin yet?  A few posters on here highly recommend it.

Let's see, it has common cold symptoms, but let's wait in line for hours to get tested with tests that often don't work - and even if they do work and we test positive, there's no treatment for it being recommended.  Sounds logical.  Some of you people are mental midgets.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Would you feel less sick if your doctor told you it was a cold and not Omicron?

Oof

Be very afraid my friends - especially the woke, liberal, progressive psychotics frequenting this thread

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10365005/Covid-tracking-scientists-France-spot-variant.html

Déjà vu: French scientists detect ANOTHER variant linked to travel to Cameroon and say it carries 46 mutations that may make it more vaccine-resistant and infectious (but it is so far NOT outcompeting Omicron)

  • Mutant strain has 46 mutations making it more vaccine resistant and infectious
  • But there is little sign that it is outcompeting the dominant Omicron variant
  • Some 12 cases have been spotted to date, linked to travel to Cameroon

Just a mild cold...

Schmoopies sister works on the COVID unit and they are hurting right now at her hospital.  Not only are they getting a ton of patients, but the staff is going down too so they are even more short handed.

A neighbor is an ER doc and said last week was a s***show. But I bet it's super reassuring for them to keep hearing how this is all just a mild cold and that we need to just get on with life. It's unfortunate that nobody seems to care if nurses and doctors would like to get on with life too. Not to mention anyone else that might need medical attention for non-covid reasons when waiting rooms for ERs, urgent cares, and even just appts for PCPs are all packed.
