You mean- they dared to use Common sense and logic- with the facts known?

CDC announced earlier 75% of COVID deaths were people with at least 4 Comorbidities.    FOUR.

So what, deaths don't count if there are comorbidities? We've known since early on that there are medical conditions that increase the risk of death from Covid. That doesn't mean Covid didn't kill them.

I do.  Our unvaccinated neighbors (my wife's best friend) have it right now.  Sounds like Delta more than it does Omicron.  The kids are largely over it, but the adults are still wiped out.  They're at the critical stage where they're starting to feel better.  That's where it either continues in an upward trajectory, or crashes into severe problems.  Needless to say, we're concerned.

Good luck, hope you and yours manage to avoid it.

We’re talking about different’’he’’’s. I’m talking about the diminutive poster making incorrect claims about Omicron then, when called on, deflecting to the broader pandemic.

wtf are you talking about? What incorrect claim did I make about omicron?

As safe as we can. We’re not going anywhere near them, obviously, but life goes on.

I'm not saying you can't get it, and we're obviously both using anecdotal evidence here, but out of my pretty large family, only one of us has tested positive. My brother seems to have picked it up at a Parliament concert in DC a couple months ago. Generally, though, when I hear about people having gotten COVID, it's usually the cavalier types.

I know many that have gotten it this go round who are fully vaccinated and a couple even had contracted the virus previously as well.  All mild cases.  Three or four days of some flu like symptoms but never serious.

One of the people in my office had it with no symptoms. Her husband got sick, she tested positive, but just a mild headache for a day.

Other than my wife, the only people we had seen or been with right when I got the symptoms were my Inlaws -  (Both over 80 and boosted) Neither of them got sick. We did keep our distance but were in the same house with them Christmas day. I did not start feeling sick until later that day. I was happy they did not get it.

Yes because the vaccine is proven to be effective and keeping most out of the hospital, it is pretty much at the same rate as the regular flu but those that are most pro vaccine act like anti vaxxers who say the vaccine does not work, there is no need to hide and social distance if you are vaxxed. I couldn't care less if I come in contact with someone that is not vaxxed, they are the ones in danger not me.

luckily, my family members didn't get any really bad symptoms...the worst i heard about was a bad sore throat. most of them are vaxxed though.

delta is still out there too...we have relatives in the nyc area who have friends that tested positive for delta recently. (i guess some pcr tests actually tell you which variant you have?)

Yep. Most breakthrough cases of the vaccinated result in minor symptoms, not so much for the Unvaccinated.

In Virginia for example 0.012% that are fully vaccinated have died, you are not going to get better than that so either live your life or hide forever

No, I want you to quote the post that Kz claims I need to apologize to you for. The only argument I recall having with you was when you incorrectly claimed gunshot victims are listed as covid deaths if they tested positive. I think both of you are confusing that conversation with hospitalizations, or are confusing me with someone else.

So are we going to revisit this now? Not only were you dead wrong about the hospitalization data, the CDC director confirmed that you were dead wrong about the way they count Covid deaths as well. @Joe Shades 73 needs his apology, and you need to refrain from pretending to be an expert forever.

To be fair, they're likely undercounting hospitalizations/cases/deaths in the vaccinated for political reasons, just like they intentionally overcounted hospitalizations and deaths for the first two years of the pandemic. You literally can't trust anything coming from government sources at this point.

No, very few generally.  You see some on the subway or a bus.  Maybe 15-20% of the people here wear masks in those forms of public transit.  Otherwise, just a person here or there in stores, mainly older people.

Walensky blows goats. She's worse than Redfield and I thought he was terrible. The messaging and guidance from the CDC has been an abortion. That being said, I failed to catch the part where she said car crash victims were counted as covid deaths or bullet wounds were a comorbidity.

So, are you ready to quote whatever posts you keep saying I was wrong about? Or are you gonna slink away like you did last time little dude?

You are also free to quote whatever posts you think I owe you an apology for.  And I am wrong about plenty, and readily admit it as much, such as when I thought we'd have a larger percentage of the US population fully vaccinated by fall of last year, when I underestimated risk of covid in March of 2020, etc.

Holy ish, he still can't admit he was dead wrong even after the CDC director said they were classifying deaths with Covid as Covid deaths.
