Oh no, booohooo, someone might take the mask mandates out of school. They've been so effective! lmfao

My younger daughter has been going to school in person through the entire pandemic.  The kids all wear masks.  My daughter says she polices her friends' mask-wearing so they don't get suspended.  That's what kind of kid I have, Kz.

I saw some woman get thrown off a plane who wouldn't wear a mask the other day.  I thought of you Kz

Why do you think he waited so long to do anything about it? Any ideas why he said he loved them and called them special people after watching it all unfold in real time? Are you usually that effusive towards the people committing that level of violence on your behalf?

As I said earlier, he’s a narcissist. These people were there being idiots to "show him love.” He waited so long because he was sickly enjoying it most likely.

Not surprising.

I saw some weirdo wearing a surgical mask and safety goggles under a face shield the other day and thought about a lot of you.

So he enjoyed it but didn't want it?

Face shields and goggles are pointless. Delta rendered any sort of dividers or face shields completely useless, and goggles always were since the beginning.

I'll be honest, I don't really like the idea of flying during the pandemic.  But whatever. I just wear a regular mask if I have to go somewhere including the airport.

I think he enjoyed the signs, the chants, the t-shirts and banners everywhere, yes. Not saying he enjoyed the violence.

Agreed. (Damn it)

Hopefully your daughter is there to remind you to pull it up over your nose.

The biggest risk with flying is eating at the airport. Or if you're the type to have a couple of drinks on the plane. If you're able to abstain from that, it's relatively safe.

I wish.  Nah, there was a delay pulling back from the gate and somehow in that time she had a full meltdown including arguing with another passenger.  I was too far in the back to hear everything that happened though.

Check the timeline of events, and more importantly, the deleted tweets he made prior to the video address. He saw plenty of violence and still waited 3 hrs(!) before putting out that video condemning it. Then there's the lie about calling in national guard from his haggard lap dog. Pretty well documented that he enjoyed every bit of it.

Aww is someone upset that some people prioritize children's development.

If your kid's "development'" is stunted by wearing a f***ing mask in a pandemic, congratulations: you raised a pu**y,

I can see how it would be a problem in certain subjects actually.  Foreign languages for example.  I mean, some kids are hard enough to understand in English.  But whatever, it's better than everyone getting sick.

It can pose instructional challenges with very little kids teaching them phonics and basic speech because seeing the teacher mouth the words can help kids understand and repeat words and phrases. Sometimes, an elementary teacher might need to briefly pull their mask down to let students see them mouth the words, but as for the kids in the masks, I don't see how it would be detrimental to their development. For the most part, I've found that kids "get it" better than most adults, and the youngest are often the most mask-conscious of the bunch. It's just that their parents are a bunch of entitled wimps who project their emotional fragility onto their kids.

Haha, I can tell this opinion is based in a lot of science and data. The fact is, we really don't know fully what kind of damage we've done to kids. We know that teachers have absolutely sucked at educating throughout this process, as test scores/reading comprehension/pretty much every metric has shown a significant decline. All for a virus that poses almost no threat to children at all. Sad.
