Even then I'd be fine with it. But It's not even for patients. It's for the families of patients who are being treated in other medical facilities that are nearby.

They are there to be with the patients. That's the whole point. To be close to the patients. Taking them COVID seems a poor gift.

What's sad is that Trump can say that directly into the camera on the most friendly network there is, and people will still dig their heels in with skepticism of the vaccine.

I still cannot comprehend how people who were so excited about the vaccine when Trump was President now are so against it.  I know there's another side of the same coin, with Democrats skeptical of the vaccine until Biden won the election, but how has the vaccine itself changed since the fall of 2020?  Trump did what he should have done: cut red tape and allowed companies to do what they needed to do to get it finished fast.  No, Trump was not personally working on the vaccine, which is what you would think when some Democrats said they wouldn't trust a vaccine from Trump.  But now this vaccine that was developed the way that Republicans and Conservatives want things to be is all of a sudden bad?  Were these the same people complaining that the FDA took too long to approve various drugs when they were available in Europe?  Where these the same people who applauded when Trump

You could have Jesus preaching about your treatment and it wouldn't make a difference.

The skepticism is well deserved based on results. Or in this case the obvious lack of results.

Carry on.

Matt? Are you ok? Were you texting and driving? Abducted by aliens? Did you drop your phone in the toilet? Run out of data?

I gave up on the rant.  But I guess I'll finish it: Were these the same people who applauded when Trump signed the Right To Try bill?

Your risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and death is significantly less with the vaccine. Almost an order of magnitude less.

STFU with "lack of results."

Oh so you don't know some of the basic concepts of the English language, in addition to not knowing what the Ronald McDonald House is.

Why should the American people have to pay for the hospital care for those who took the secret serum? We've already forked over billions for you to acquire artificial "immunity" and now you still need a hospital bed? We're being double charged for what the pure bloods acquired naturally, and therefor FREE, by allowing their immune systems to do the work.

So, reserve those hospital beds for those who provide a more efficient approach to the flu season.

I was talking about this to @schmoopie last night.  In all honesty I thought it was something similar, it housed the actual patients, before our daughter came along.  Because she needed an extended NICU stay in Florida, the Ronald McDonald house was an option offered to us.  Problem was they didn't have any immediate spots open and the fact that we were spending time in the hospital in shifts so we could be with her 24/7 it was very important that when we left we could get "home", eat and fall asleep ASAP, so we opted to rent a room a an aLoft at a deeply discounted rate.

So yeah, while I am having a laugh at people posting meme's or speaking authoritatively yet incorrectly about the Ronald McDonald house, I understand why they are coming from where they are.

I have excellent health insurance and I'm vaccinated. No need for you guys to pay for me should I need to be hospitalized, I got this!
