In that last video I posted the guy raised and interesting point, so the virus started in Wuhan, crossed the ocean and hit the US impacting every town, city and state. There’s a pattern with Republicans ( don’t think conservative really applies anymore). They tend to disregard anything they’re not directly affected by. But once something like Coronavirus hits home, they moderate.

Yeah but they looked at the angle that the liberals were pro-lockdown because Trump was so blase about about the virus.

They did but they were just speculating since there’s no way for them to gather reliable data on that. They also guessed that it had to do with the particular regions being hit the hardest, but since in both cases they’re polling motives, it’s less reliable. With Republican sentiment before/after being affected, it’s easier to poll/trust your polling.

Carriers of the virus who were overseas came into the US. The PEOPLE who had it crossed the ocean and brought it to the US. Many of which came from Europe by the way. 2) I don’t know how many cases were in Beijing and Shanghai. 3)I don’t really trust the Chinese governments numbers anyway. 4) China took extremely strict lockdown measures to stop the spread of the virus. Quarantine wasn’t on the honor system. They installed monitors on people’s doors to ensure that people stayed in their homes. They had police enforce lockdown measures, etc...
May 2, 20205 yr Pretty much as I expected. Those restrictions are being backed off of as the weather makes it increasing obvious that they won't be able to maintain them.
