No one said that publishing something makes it accurate. Again, that’s what makes it a scientific issue and not the political issue you so desperately want it to be. What matters is if what she is saying is true, not your perceived political repercussions.

So my opening NFL weekend was ruined by a guy who was invited over to watch the games.  Didn't know him, he was just renting out one of our apts, but I felt sorry for him asking about where to watch the games and knowing that bars were going to be ify propositions at best.  Almost immediately the dude goes an anti mask rants, his freedom, yadad yadda.  Ok, whatever, that's debate territory.  A couple drinks in he dives into a straight up racist comment (i had a black friend over who has been wearing maks religously because takes care of his elderly mom).

 

Yeah.  Luckily the guy realized what he had done, disappeared for a bit and when he came back didn't mention any of it again rest of day.  But wow.  This guy is clearly a highly inteligent person.  There is no way in hell he just walks into somebody's house and goes on that kind of diatribe 5 years ago.

 

It's Trump.  I know we have an instinctive urge to not give single people in history too much credit and search for the underlying factors.  But it's Trump who has made loud, racist stupidity go in style.

It just keeps getting clearer every single day that Trump will do anything to get re-elected..  After Dr. R's testimony yesterday, he comes out to say he was wrong, misspoke , or made a mistake.  Regarding the vaccine time line.  How many days until he STFU?

I'd love to say until inauguration but unfortunately we know damn well he's not going to stop talking even after a loss. He's way to much of a sociopath to go the GW route and just sit in his garage painting all day.

I almost got bounced off another site yesterday as my anger at grieving and having to vote once again for the lesser of the 2 evils has me wound up pretty tight.   l am trying to limit my exposure to all of this or I may end up depressed and I don't want that.  Anyway, Trump has been my prime target but I know that needs to stop as well. I really need to find something else to do in my free time. /rant

I understand that. We all should take a break from this BS now and again and  you've been dealing with a lot.  Hopefully the Eagles don't suck as much this weekend so you can focus on football instead 🤞.

I'm there with you. I don't know why I feel the need to go on CNN.com all the time. It's literally the first thing I do every morning. I was never like this. I was never angry or scared of a president winning another four years.

I have clinical depression and anxiety. This whole thing isn't making it better, but I don't know how to stop myself.

I'm at the point to where if Trump wins, I think we are all dead from either the virus, the vaccine for the virus or Trump's wanting to start a war with another country because they made fun of his hair.
