Only way for could see it being a scam is if trump is just ready to say f it after the debate and doesn’t want to deal with trying anymore. He reportedly of course thought he did incredibly during the debate so when all he hears afterwards is what a sheet show it was I could see him just being done with it. And the fact that his campaign is apparently broke probably doesn’t help.
