This thing just keeps getting pushed further down the road.

This is the DailyMail. Can we agree it's among the media outlets we should be basically ignoring? Its only value is entertainment, not informational.

If you want pics of scantily clad celebrities and stories of royal intrigue with dubious attachment to reality, DailyMail is your rag.

As a source for COVID news? No.

Sure we can agree to that.  We also have to agree that the timelines continue to be pushed.  That was probably inevitable.

It was reporting from Bloomberg article.

On Feb 3rd, we crossed the inflection point where now more people are getting vaccinated than are getting infected. And we've now got hard data out of the UK and Israel that we had suspected all along, inoculation does provide a significant degree of sterilizing immunity. I feel like I'm repeating myself ad nauseum but the vaccines were a monumental breakthrough and are already being tweaked in the event b1.351 becomes predominant outside of SA. Third world countries will obviously lag behind, but I don't really see a likely scenario where the pandemic isn't over by year's end.

Which is what the article  predicted for US ,New Year 2022.

Tranlsation: We are moving in the right direction and we have an eventual fix to the problem.  It is just going to take a bit longer than we all hoped for and for the most part expected.  Some people just can't work with multiple variable equations.

Herd immunity. Good plan.

Is the Super Bowl a COVID super spreader event? So many not wearing masks all over each other.

Just a random occurrence and in no way indicative of the DeSantis' Florida Death Plan.

Adults freely choosing to be in a crowded place! Who runs the government there!? This is his fault!
