Meh.  I don't see anything wrong with this.  My wife doesn't want to take the J&J vaccine unless it's the only one available because of their connection to poisoned baby products, so this is kind of in that same vein.

I know.  I know.  As I previously posted my daughter is very apprehensive of vaccines. Only did a flu shot last year so she could be here with her dad. (Pre covid)

Now, educators will most likely get the J&J in PA.  She was sent a survey today that’s due Friday. Data to be submitted Monday afternoon.  Data working in tandem with staff and contractors for individuals already in phase 1a registered via other means.   It mentions a site opening in her districts county (Montgomery) as soon as next week.  Just for staff/contractors and our dear gov says all educators should be vaccinated by the end of March.  Will see how this goes. 

I’m always going to be a mother first. If the J&J vaccine provides 100% against death -and I can’t have my daughter dying before me, I will spend eternity in hell for the guidance I just gave to her.  Get the shot!   No question.  The rest is noise. Could it end up as regret? Misinformation? Sure.  She’s getting the damn shot whichever one it is.

In addition to using harvested fetuses for the development of it, I think the J&J vaccine has a 66% effectiveness, which I believe is less than Pfizer and Moderna.

I'm gonna try standing by at the vaccine site down the street from my parents tomorrow to see if I can get a shot instead of through my district. 95% vs. 66%...yeah, no brainer. F J&J.

I’m with you.  Everyone needs to get one of the vaccines,  but if people want to pick and choose which one for whatever reason, that’s fine by me.

I will obviously take anything over nothing, but if I can get a vaccine that is 30% more effective by just jumping through a couple of hoops, I'll do it. I won't hold out for a very long time, but they just moved us into 1A yesterday, so I'm gonna try for at least a little bit here. I haven't even been offered one of those crappy doses yet, so I'm technically ahead of the game.

At this point is anyone not in 1-A? They keep expanding group 1-A when they don't have enough vaccine for people who have been in 1-A and in line for months. What a total cluster F.
