Haha, that's funny, because I literally just sent this article to a female friend and I told her that it was payback for women making up the "man flu" thing. I reality, though, I don't think it came out of nowhere. A lot of guys act like whiny beyotches when they're sick. I hardly ever get sick, so I don't have much of a personal reference, but when I was a kid, I was not the type to fake being sick or exploit a minor illness to tsay home. In fact, I usually had to be convinced I was too sick to go to school, so I think I generally handle illness well.

Search out his med license online and see if he has a history of fraud or malpractice attached to it. I spent a decade investigating medical insurance fraud in the Philly area and usually doctors that do crap like this have a history. I automatically research any new doctor my family goes to.
March 22, 20214 yr If he is charging you a copay, he is probably billing your insurance for an office visit. If all he is doing is administering a vaccine with no exam, I'd be curious how he is justifying the office visit billing code in the medical records.

It has the same E484K mutation seen in the SA variant so it's reasonable to assume this will eventually become predominant in hotspots like we've seen with that one. Right, and after you get a vaccine for the 526 variant, there'll be a new 626 variant that you'll need a vaccine for and after that...... I'm surprised you guys can't see this coming.

That's not the Wright Center is it? I saw someone was charged $400. The CEO came off like a pompous arse in her interview. Quote But Dr. Linda Thomas-Hemak, the Wright Center CEO, says that's because she does not want to put a shot in the arm of someone who has never been a patient of the center before without knowing their medical history, especially after a year where so many people have skipped their regular doctors' appointments due to COVID-19.

March 22, 20214 yr Two days since my first shot of moderna. Arm is a little sore but other than that no side effects. The one downside compared to the Pfizer is iirc it takes a few extra days for the Moderna achieve maximum effectiveness after the second dose.

Those neurons are notoriously fragile, so in all honesty, I'd rather risk a local reaction to a much more resilient deltoid muscle than anything having to do with my nasal tissue. Just my 2 cents.

March 22, 20214 yr Hunt, that's terrible. As far as I know, we have no providers vaccinating people down here. Last update from Penn (other than in the city), is no vaccines still. 4 to 6 weeks and that's just Radnor and Valley Forge. Yet, upstate there are centers signing up people. I know I've been *itching about this for no good reason, but the State did not set this up right. At all. My sister got her 2nd dose Saturday. She said she felt miserable yesterday, but is feeling better today. Moderna. My daughter opted out of the last 2 weekend J&J State given vaccines. I couldn't believe it. She said they have had staffing issues clear thru Wednesday the last 2 weeks. I still have time to work on her. I think she would have gone if not for it being the J&J. She will get vaccinated if I have to shove an alien up her butt before schools go back full time in person. I'm fine waiting 'til May.

Eventually the rollout will be great, vaccine will be available easily for everyone , unfortunately that is not the big story. No one is going to say this is hopeless because they want everyone to get vaccinated, if the CDC came out and said this will never end, far less people would get vaccinated and more deaths
