There will be no way to now to convince the anti vaxxers to get the vaccine. It will be either forced vaccinations or no end to this

I’m assuming most of these people were the ones saying "the virus only has less than a 1% fatality rate” the past year and a half and are now using 6 instances out of 7 million to justify their anti-vax theories.

Rational thinking is not a strong suit of these people, actually just thinking is not either

My posts aren't public, but a friend has already copied and re-posted it. You're about to be a viral memelord, lol.

I got the blood clot shot on Saturday. My arm is still a bit sore.

I thought I was immune to poison ivy - one of the many times my older brother was kicking my ass in the Wissahickon valley, three of the people there came back covered, including him. I found out it didn't bother me.

I was the ivy puller after that.

Fast forward twenty years, got poison oak one year - now I get poison ivy too. Not bad, but enough so I have to treat it.

PS - calamine lotion sucks, Ivy-Dry is basically rubbing alcohol and tannic acid dries that stuff up good.

The oil from the plant gets everywhere. Wash everything with something that will cut grease.

I thought I was "immune" to poison ivy also.  I had multiple exposures and never had a reaction.  It's just that other people have a higher sensitivity to the sap but your sensitivity change over time.

I pulled poison ivy for my In Laws a few years back and got a reaction for the first time ever (I'm 49).  It went away in a day but I looked it up back then and found this is normal.

Didnt you have covid like 2 weeks ago? I thought you had to wait a while after having it or something like that.

Certainly possible but i don't believe i have ever gotten poison ivy in my 40 years before this past week, if accurate.

I'm just curious (completely anecdotal) if the shot made my body more hyper-sensitive to something that never bothered me in the past... especially since it didn't mainfest until almost 4 days after the contact.

You will become more sensitive to poison ivy the more you are exposed to it. Or whatever it is in your garden. The more you come in contact with it, the more likely you will develop a reaction. This is commonly how allergies work. It doesn't really have anything to do with the shot, it's just coincidence.

A kid I grew up with wound up in the hospital and nearly died from burning it in his backyard.

Poison Ivy:

  1. WASH WITH GREASE CUTTING SOAP. THE OIL SPREADS THE EFFECT.
  2. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE OIL FROM YOUR SKIN AND DRY OUT AFFECTED AREAS.
  3. CALAMINE IS USELESS. IVY-DRY WORKS. SO DOES A TEABAG IN ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL (which I used when I couldn't find's Ivy Dry anywhere) - THIS STAINS BADLY.
  4. THE OIL IS NOW EVERYWHERE YOU TOUCHED WHEN YOU CAME HOME. DOORS. ARMS OF CHAIRS.
  5. PEOPLE SAY THE STUFF IN THE BLISTERS SPREADS IT - NOT TRUE - THE OIL FROM THE PLANT

An Eagle Scout friend of mine used to scratch open all the blisters and then wash with bleach. This seems a little extreme to me.

Is that a problem in NEPA?  Really haven't seen anybody not wearing them around here.  I mean Florida is gonna Florida but those people in no way represent the nation.

on the few occasions where i've had to be around the general public, there are always a few people not wearing masks or wearing them under their noses.

Ah yes the nose out the top.  It's like walking around with your dick out of the top of your pants.

Only some of us can effectively pull off that maneuver.
