I thought I was "immune" to poison ivy also. I had multiple exposures and never had a reaction. It's just that other people have a higher sensitivity to the sap but your sensitivity change over time. I pulled poison ivy for my In Laws a few years back and got a reaction for the first time ever (I'm 49). It went away in a day but I looked it up back then and found this is normal.

You will become more sensitive to poison ivy the more you are exposed to it. Or whatever it is in your garden. The more you come in contact with it, the more likely you will develop a reaction. This is commonly how allergies work. It doesn't really have anything to do with the shot, it's just coincidence.

This seems a little extreme to me. My son had terrible reactions and he did just that. Bleach. Fells Napa soap works well. Had to be put on steroids a couple of times when he was young. He still reacts to it, but not as bad. Hope he's not dumb enough to burn it. Maybe I should mention it.

There's going to be people like that but I'd say it's far and few between around here. I haven't been out but for essentials and kids sports so I'm not maybe exposed to the idiocy as much. Went out to eat about 4 times in the last year.

Somehow he felt superior to everyone else? Well let me know how that works out for ya dude! I think I heard an employee offer him one, but he refused, thankfully did not make a scene. Can't fix stupid.
