Tennessee has had a total of 908 "breakthrough" cases of coronavirus including 82 that required hospitalization and 14 deaths. Damn, I don't know if I want the blood clot shot now.

Tennessee begin administering COVID-19 vaccines on 2/16/21.  Since that time, 2.25 million people have been fully vaccinated.  Of those 2.25 million people,  908 people have been infected with COVID and 14 have died from COVID.   So that's 0.04% of the vaccinated population to be infected, 0.0006% of the vaccinated population to die from COVID.

During that same time period, Tennessee had a total of 92,500 COVID cases and 1,115 deaths.  Taking out the breakthrough cases, and that's 91,500 cases and 1101 deaths in the non-vaccinated population (4.55 million).

So that's 2% of the non-vaccinated population to be infected, and .02% of the non-vaccinated population to die from COVID.

Why are you so bad at understanding statistics?

Oh, and you realize that the AstraZeneca vaccine isn't approved for use in the US, right?

my employer is going to be handing out badges to folks who show proof of vaccination in order to stop wearing a mask at work.  it will be interesting to see if any members of the "muh freedomz" crowd decide to queef about it.

A girl at work today see me without my mask and glared at me. She asked if I was vaccinated. I said " of course" so she says " you can keep your effing vaccines I'm not getting one" I said " why are you wearing your mask below your nose?" She said she can't breath..... I just laughed at her with out my mask and walked away. These people are incredibly stupid lol.

Yes.

How about you provide the data since you're the one trying to make the claim that it's better to not get the vaccination...... you know, show your work....

EEOC says employers can mandate vaccination for those that work in the office.

My employer required proof of vaccinations before they allow employees working from home to return to work.  I'm sure it's common for a lot of employers to do the same.

Those who are vaccinated will tell truth. Those who are not vaccinated will lie about it. Especially, when going to a restaurant or market etc. where those who are not vaccinated are still required to wear a mask.

lmao yeah figured, as usual you have no clue as to what you are talking about.

some people think this is how the maths work:

They did the math... but they did it wrong

  • An explosive new study claims researchers found 'unique fingerprints' in COVID-19 samples that they say could only have arisen from manipulation in a laboratory
  • DailyMail.com exclusively obtained the new 22-page paper authored by British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen set to be published in the Quarterly Review of Biophysics Discovery
  • The study showed there's evidence to suggest Chinese scientists created the virus while working on a Gain of Function project in a Wuhan lab
  • Gain of Function research, which was temporarily outlawed in the US, involves altering naturally-occurring viruses to make them more infectious in order to study their potential effects on humans
  • According to the paper, Chinese scientists took a natural coronavirus 'backbone' found in Chinese cave bats and spliced onto it a new 'spike', turning it into the deadly and highly transmissible COVID-19
  • The researchers, who concluded that COVID-19 'has no credible natural ancestor', also believe scientists reverse-engineered versions of the virus to cover up their tracks
  • 'We think that there have been retro-engineered viruses created,' Dalgleish told DailyMail.com. 'They've changed the virus, then tried to make out it was in a sequence years ago.'
  • The study also points to 'deliberate destruction, concealment or contamination of data' in Chinese labs and notes that 'scientists who wished to share their findings haven't been able to do so or have disappeared'
  • Until recently, most experts had staunchly denied the origins of the virus were anything other than a natural infection leaping from animals to humans

You don't have to lie. No one is going to say a word. 😉

I see that the resident flat earth "jenius" "liked" this.

Ok, 445k deaths among 25.3m people is not 0.02%. it's 2%. Which is inline with the case fatality rate globally.

Divide it by the whole population and it's 0.14%.

The moron above did simple division then quoted it as a straight percentage. Because they're an idiot.

And fwiw deaths are now at 594k. About 0.18% of the population, or 1 in 555, have died. A number that would have been much higher had we just ignored the pandemic like some seem to believe we should have.

There's nothing wrong with the math, however, the next to last sentence should have been written as "So the US has lost .00134% if it's population due to COVID-19".

The biggest problem with the math is the 445,264 deaths, I'm sure everyone knows by now the books were severly cooked and that number is much lower, just as the number of deaths due to the vaccinations are much higher.

WAKE UP AMERICA!!

Oh god, did you go to Ohio State too?

Tell me, what percent of 100 is 100?

By the math above.. 100/100 = 1. So.. 1%.

That right Mr math major?
