Love the tax incentive idea. Tax credits for businesses that require vaccination proof.

If only we have tied the 2nd round of PPP to requiring vaccination proof starting 10/1.

Exactly. Many business owners will tend to do the right thing anyway, but cash incentive certainly helps. Last year so many businesses closed up temporarily and sent their employees home because they were promised money to do so. You want them to do something? Give them money.

I’m not even talking about surviving. Why would you spend a week or two in the hospital when you could get a readily available vaccine? That’s not smart, Kz.

Or even if you don’t go to the hospital, many people suffered permanent damage

I wore one to the grocery store. Too many Trumplicans around here.

Also, it helps hide the day-drinking better LOL

We went to an open house yesterday and it was the first time I masked up since the restrictions was lifted.

Yeah. Found an awesome place for baby girl to grow up in. Not sure how much of a chance we have. But if we get it we are keeping our current residence to rent to the poors

Good luck man. Borrowing rates are stupid low and getting lower every day.

If you want a lovely 3 bedroom, 2 full 2 half bath with a fully remodeled walk out basement with a wet bar with views of a woodland creek and can pay us, go right ahead.

Oof, I think I hit the part in this post where we have a problem.

Hope you feel better soon man.

About a quarter of the people in the grocery store were wearing masks this past weekend. I haven't seen a mask at the store in months.

We were at King of Prussia Mall the other day (wearing masks), mostly because we decided to finally use the GF's gift certificate to Cheesecake Factory that she got at Christmas two years ago. I was trying to do a rough-estimate of mask-wearing, and it was pretty low. It couldn't have been any more than 1/7 and was probably more like 1/10. Probably skewed a bit since people shopping at the mall are generally less COVID-conscious, but it was a still a bit disappointing, particularly when I saw a bunch of small, maskless children rolling around a playplace together.

Ah, the mother-in-law suite.

I'd say order some wood and nails and hand her a hammer, but with the price of wood these days granny can make do with a sleeping bag.

(not the good sleeping bag though.)

Pretty much:

If the risk-reward "doesn't make sense," then you just don't know how numbers work.

When the vaccine FIRST came out and a person was skeptical, I could understand that.  Totally rational.

But now that literally hundreds of millions of people around the world have taken it and it's proven safe, why not now?  Makes no sense.

For some reason they think the vaccines are going to have an adverse impact years later even though literally no vaccine has EVER worked that way.
