I see the ishlibs recruited reinforcements for this thread today after getting completely destroyed in here yesterday.  There certainly is strength in numbers among the weak!

That's actually been one of the positives about getting vaccinated. We just tilt our heads to left, touch our left earlobe, and that puts us all on the same frequency so we can communicate and ask for help when the anti-vaxx stronks start flexing.

Being vaccinated makes the connection to The Matrix flawless.

Huge if true.

For the love of God, be your own person. Or at the very least emulate someone who isn't a complete moron. This is getting beyond pathetic.

I assume you meant Adolf, as in Adolf Hitler, resident hero to many CVON ishlibs?

How many dead veterans is okay with you?

Although, I guess you could just tell them to toughen up. They should have not been exposed to Agent Orange or had limbs blown off and become weak.

Is that what's happening when I hear a bunch of wailing that sounds like a cat in heat?  Thanks for clearing that up.

Aspirin lowers risk of COVID: New findings support preliminary Israeli trial

The treatment reduced the risk of reaching mechanical ventilation by 44%. ICU admissions were lower by 43%, and an overall in-hospital mortality saw a 47% decrease.

By JERUSALEM POST STAFF
OCTOBER 6, 2021 13:51

Over-the-counter aspirin could protect the lungs of COVID-19 patients and minimize the need for mechanical ventilation, according to new research at the George Washington University.

The team investigated more than 400 COVID patients from hospitals across the United States who take aspirin unrelated to their COVID disease, and found that the treatment reduced the risk of several parameters by almost half: reaching mechanical ventilation by 44%, ICU admissions by 43%, and overall in-hospital mortality by 47%.

"As we learned about the connection between blood clots and COVID-19, we knew that aspirin – used to prevent stroke and heart attack – could be important for COVID-19 patients,” said Dr. Jonathan Chow of the study team. "Our research found an association between low-dose aspirin and decreased severity of COVID-19 and death.”

Low-dose aspirin is a common treatment for anyone suffering from blood clotting issues or in danger of stroke, including most people who had a heart attack or a myocardial infarction. Although affecting the respiratory system, the coronavirus has been associated with small blood vessel clotting, causing tiny blockages in the pulmonary blood system, leading to ARDS - acute respiratory distress syndrome.

Israeli researchers reached similar results in a preliminary trial at the Barzilai Medical Center in March. In addition to its effect on blood clots, they found that aspirin carried immunological benefits and that the group taking it was 29% less likely to become infected with the virus in the first place.

"Aspirin is low cost, easily accessible and millions are already using it to treat their health conditions,” said Chow. "Finding this association is a huge win for those looking to reduce risk from some of the most devastating effects of COVID-19.”

I'm sorry, natural selection is at work, and the weak should just die.

Ask anyone.

CVON ishlibs:  We need to get vaccinated to protect those at high risk of serious illness from COVID (mostly obese slobs and smokers)

Also CVON ishlibs:  IF YOU DON'T GET THE VACCINE I HOPE YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY DIE A SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATH FROM COVID AND IT'S 100% MORTALITY RATE

I mean, I know it's crazy to be hesitant to take these things and I'll probably die of Covid two to three times before lunch today, but do people really not understand how some can be hesitant to take the vaccine if the risk of serious illness from covid is minimal for them?

https://medicalxpress.com/news/2021-10-sweden-halts-moderna-vaccine-young.html

I think I'll wait while the kinks get worked out. I'll at least wait until the pharmaceutical companies can clearly tell me how long their vaccines work, how long their boosters work, and what kind of recurring booster shot regiment I will have to sign up for to be protected.  Until then, I'll be rooting for promising alternatives, like ivermectin, to succeed.

I know, it's madness! Just madness.

This, unsurprisingly, got zero discussion in here. It begs the question, is Sweden vaccine hesitant? Are they simply making the wrong call by halting vaccinations with Moderna in young people or is it a smart move to pause while they accumulate more information? Tough questions.

Let's go Brandon!

because 65k people died between Dec 31 and Jan 20. not that it should matter, but the death rate peaked in that timeframe.

the vast majority of the deaths in that second wave there are among unvaccinated in the most unvaccinated regions of our nation.

but keep pumping Ivermectin. morons.

Raw data = no serious study. Might as well have word of mouth. I have a bunch of data from sources, haven't tried sorting out the bad data yet, but hey, what difference could that make?

Let's all remember to apply this chunk of knowledge equally regardless of angle or who's agenda it supports.  I know you normally do that Toast but there are many others in here on both sides who have no problem trotting out a shoddy non peer reviewed type study as long as it supports their viewpoint.  The balance of the transgression sides significantly on the side of Karenzzzzzz but the point remains valid none the less.

Most of the large academic centers are giving hospitalized COVID patients aspirin. Particularly those at high risk for clots (eg pregnant women). There's been some talk about giving for anyone who catches the disease but I don't know much about the progress there since it wouldn't apply to kids.
