This, unsurprisingly, got zero discussion in here. It begs the question, is Sweden vaccine hesitant? Are they simply making the wrong call by halting vaccinations with Moderna in young people or is it a smart move to pause while they accumulate more information? Tough questions.

Yes, of course it's the wrong call. The reason why there is zero discussion is that it's hardly surprising for Sweden to be making the wrong call on anything related to their handling of the pandemic.

Texas man's lie about paying someone with Covid to lick groceries sends him to federal prison

Christopher Charles Perez told investigators he "was trying to scare people from the stores in order to stop them from spreading the virus to keep people safe."

Quote

A Texas man who posted on Facebook that he paid someone sick with Covid-19 to intentionally spread the virus at San Antonio grocery stores by licking items was sentenced Monday to just over a year in prison.

Christopher Charles Perez, who also goes by the last name Robbins, was found guilty by a federal jury of two counts of making false hoaxes related to biological weapons, the Justice Department said in a statement.

According to court documents, Perez posted: "My homeboys cousin has covid19 and has licked every thing for past 2 days cause we paid him too [sic]. Big difference is we told him not to be these f------ idiots who record and post online. . .YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!"

Class act.

There's a strong correlation to being under 5'7 and also thinking you know more than Sweden's entire pandemic response team. I'd like some academic studies done on that, honestly.

So the officials at the FDA, CDC, NIH, must be under 5'7" then.

I think he thinks that's you endorsing the weak dying from Covid. Because that somehow makes sense in his dementia-ridden mind.

For the record, I am not cheering for anyone's death from COVID.

I save that for child molesters and terrorists.

I am a HUGE fan of consequences.

Let's unpack this real quick.

Toaster isn't cheering for anyone's death.

He's a huge fan of consequences.

A consequence of not getting the vaccine is death.

He's a huge fan of death among the unvaccinated.

Wow! Another edgy ishlib post! Neato!

Not that I want anyone to die, but if the unvaccinated are dying, that reduces the amount of unvaccinated people spreading the virus.  I wish they would get vaccinated, but, there is more than one way to skin a cat.

Consequences are part of accepting personal responsibility of your decisions. You can also be sad/disappointed that those consequences lead to death. I would've thought that distinction of personal accountability would be something that a self proclaimed conservative would understand.

here's how vaccination matters you nitwits.

below is a case rate - cases per million - contrasting the US and Israel:

image.thumb.png.150a02ffe07a300257ff229ad816f84f.png

The 2nd wave there - Delta - in Israel absolutely CRUSHED them from a case rate standpoint. The US delta wave by comparison, nationally (looks very different state by state), was milder than the big wave end of 2020 into January 2021.

But deaths? Different story:

image.thumb.png.0faa2f17da8b9765038e2ac49c5dd08c.png

Despite Israel's "humongous big" case rate from the Delta wave, its death rate was HALF its earlier peak, while the US didn't see the same improvement.

So what's the difference? Is Israel pumping people with Ivermectin and HCQ?

Or is it

because Israel had one of the highest vaccination rates in the world as was early on booster shots for high risk individuals vaccinated 8+ mos ago when the vaccines were first available??!?!?

I'm sure it's the Ivermectin.

No.

Yeah, I think everyone here knows where most ishlibs stand on the subject. Not exactly a well-kept secret.

Hell, I've had a dude on here wish death on me. At least three others were nice enough to be less specific, and simply wished death on all the unvaccinated. You guys have the softer position of not directly wishing death, but celebrating when the unvaccinated face the "consequences" of their decision.

I think the word you're looking for is "indifference".

Brad Pitt went to Israel in WWZ.

Brad Pitt, Not So Hidden Racism and Sexism, and “World War Z” (2013) – Without Ritual, Autonomous Negotiations

As Israel quarantines tens of thousands and, at press time, contemplates isolating all citizens returning to the country, regardless of where they have traveled, film buffs are pointing to similarities between the Israeli response to the novel coronavirus in real life and what Israel does to contain the zombie outbreak in the movie, World War Z.

Do I want people to die? No.

Do I take joy in anyone dying, whether unvaccinated from COVID or anything else? Of course not.

Do I care if someone who I don't know, isn't my friend or family, dies? No.

Pretty simple.

I care.

Yeah, but to be fair, you've only been an ishlib since 2016. Give it another few years and you'll be celebrating with the rest of these scumbags.
