This team stinks lol

We've known for 2-3 years that this team is going nowhere and had a ceiling somewhere beneath NBA champs.  

But they'll probably end up in a better position for some sort of playoff run than last year.  Embiid won't be in the MVP race this year, so they can load manage him to death and preserve him for the playoffs.  Maxey will be the guy for multiple games this year and will be more equipped for a big role this year.  

They'll fall well short of last year's win total with all these issues, so they need to make sure they don't miss the dance altogether, but that's pretty unlikely.

They might also get the coach fired and enjoy a bit of a boost playing for someone new.

This is where I’m at. Let Cassell coach the rest of the season and see what he can do. 

Suns -2.5 tonight and Embiid is still questionable.

I'm afraid Morey packages Maxey with Harris before the deadline to get another old star to play with Embiid and Harden.

With the way the season started,  I was not expecting that win at all. 

Lucky Niang was on fire tonight because Maxey didn't have it. Embiid probably have him the flu.

6ers are blaming Maxey's struggles on playing more PG with Harden out.

He had a great game in the 1st game Harden missed.

Last 2 games he has been short on a lot of his shots. He might just be tired, playing too many minutes.

Hes still getting good looks. Hes just hitting the front of the rim consistently.

On Russillo's pod, he went thru the East, and basically the Sixers are the laziest team in the NBA. I lot of damning stats and a good listen

they look like it.

On Monday night the 6ers handled the Suns with relative ease, and Embiid said "the season began tonight. the baseball season is over and now our season has started." The 6ers, in their very next game are getting blown out by the Hawks.

awful shooting tonight by pretty much everyone.  constant clanging off the front rim.

That Harris pass was one of the worst passes in NBA history. And then he has the audacity to yell as if he thought Maxey was going to be there. 

Play some athletic guys and bringing the team back.

Absolutely garbage that Doc put the first team in. You let the backs ups play that out. 

Harrell should make some sound bites for this game. 

Put Embiid in and he takes a fadeway 3.

Would that be so bad?  Maxey is fun to watch and a great young player,  but he’s not a championship franchise cornerstone.

A dumb trade that makes them older just makes them closer to the reset that will inevitably come before any championship anyway.

We have a difference of opinion on Maxey apparently. He’s going to be a star for a long time. He’s already on the cusp.
