wow...that's not much when you consider the nets picks will be waaay late. the cleveland pick is valuable, but the rest.

Yeah by first rounders can’t be every year due to the nba rule. Can’t go two years without a first rounder. So it’s spread out. And you have pick swaps involved as well which when this run is over for the Nets might hurt them. Better make it worthwhile by winning a championship or two

Those picks gotta run out 8 years, well past when the Nets will be good. Rockets crushed them.

Damn, disappointing especially because now we’ll never beat the nets in the playoffs. Back into purgatory while watching Embiid waste away his best years while Ben never learns to shoot.

I'd be livid if the Sixers did that deal. The whole point would have been a 2 year window, then rebuild. 8 years worth of 1sts gone = you're in hell for a decade.

The Nets BETTER win a title with KD and Harden.

I told you all it wasn't happening......never listen.  Y'all will learn eventually.

i guess...picks are only as good as what you do with them though. with only lavert & trash heading out, i can see why they had to include a sheetload of picks.

Starting in 2024, those could be gold. Unprotected picks...and the CLE 2022 should be good too.

Rockets with a steal/haul whatever you wanna call it.

This is a repeat of Danny Ainge ripping off Billy King.

i would think simmons would have a lot more value than lavert & not as many picks would have been included...but whatever. i'm not losing sleep over this since i can't stand harden.

hopefully they'll shop ben for something else.

Plus you have the pain in the ass in kyrie Irving who also never stays healthy and supposedly said he doesn’t want to play with harden. Kyrie is a bad fit with harden. Not enough basketballs to go around there. And kyrie’s trade value is not as great as they think. He’s always hurt and he’s kind of a dbag.

If I'm the Rockets, I want this deal much more than Simmons, Thybulle + salary and even 2 firsts. They just cleared cap, got tons of assets and can completely reboot as opposed to taking on Ben's contract. I have no idea how they got this deal with ZERO leverage.

Sean Marks should just start updating his resume now.

Kyrie may just walk away instead of coming back and playing with Harden again.

Awesome.  Kyrie and Harden.  Well what could go wrong there?

Oh well.

Hopefully LaVine at some point then.

oladipo to the rockets for levert.

Waiting to hear back what happened but all i know so far is "picks were very important to Houston and Sixers did not want to offer Simmons, others and all those picks. Houston was able to leak the Sixers deal to get Brooklyn to offer even more

Frankly kyrie is a walking injury dating back to Duke. He’s hurt as much as he’s healthy. He’s also a complete ahole for what he has done in Boston and now with the Nets the past 2 weeks.

Nets for their sake better be good still after 2024 (i do t think they are going to be close to what they are in 3-4 years). The swaps and picks are brutal from 2025-2027

whelp, happy morey walked away from that table / mess.

once again, morey knows WAY MORE about harden than we do.  he probably heard what they wanted from our team and knew he'd be the one bending over in that exchange, and i don't think that's what he wanted to do.

Durant is 32 and coming off an achilles. Harden is 31. The window is 2-3 years, max.

so basically our window if the 6ers traded for him...  or basically the window for ANY team that traded for harden, as once harden is cooked..  so's the window.

Nets MASSIVELY overpaid. Those picks are going to crush them.

The trick for Steve Nash will be managing those personalities.

Nets could be out of the playoffs by 2023. Harden could be gone or shot, Durant as well. Kyrie will probably want out before the deadline this year.

Wow the rockets pulled off a great deal even giving up the best player in the deal.
