If my timing is on point, then I guess I'll go with Seth Curry sucks, Tobias is still overrated and he's not aggressive enough, Danny Green should retire, Maxey should be traded too despite all his positive showings early in the season, and Thybulle should be packaged for a ham sandwich.

Trade Simmons too

Annndddd....Ben back to his old self

Jazz are just a bunch of professionals, still wonder if Mitchell can take another step in his game.

Yep 21 at the half... and yet I’m willing to bet he still doesn’t hit 30.

That two point quarter still better than Danny greens 0 for the game. If you include tonight the Sixers have played 28 games and he’s currently on pace to be in single digits in 17 of those 28. And then the last 12 games he’s been single digits in 8. I would also add on his  lateral quickness stinks, he just gets burned every time. Legitimately you could probably start Matisse thybulle right now and get better production on the defensive end and slightly less or the same on the offensive end

yeah I was critical of the signing when it happened. Hes clearly sucked horribly for at least the last 2 years. He was playing above expectations here early on but as with the bench, he is also slacking majorly lately.

Green, Curry, Howard, Maxey, Milton, Kork, Scott have all been disappointing lately, or for most of the season for various reasons.

I was critical of the roster after the draft and free agency and some in here thought I was being too negative. Though we added shooting, we inconceivably never added a true PG to the roster, and didnt add any more scoring threats. Those 2 major needs.

Not surprisingly, this team looked its best when Curry came out in the beginning of the season looking like a legit 3 level scorer who could create his own shot, literally playing at an all-star level. Then COVID happened and hes not been anything close. Nor has he been in his career. So they really need to add that type of player.

The remarkable thing is is he’s the one talking all the time about this was a wake up call. Did he sleep through the wake up call? I am fine with him if he’s a bench guy he just can’t be your fifth starter. He’s not good enough anymore. You can’t have curry who’s struggled with consistency since coming back from covid and Danny Green both be inconsistent starting. I’d Feankly bench him for thybulle. You’re getting just as inconsistent offense and at least thybulle can play better defense at this stage of his career

Im not thrilled with that option either. The answer is- its beyond time to make a move or 3 this season.

I’d make a move. I’m for that. but in the meantime i think at least go another Avenue is benching green and seeing if that at least gets you through until you make a move.

ben with 30...  5ish minutes left in the 3rd...

he could break his career high.

our bench has 15 (so far) theirs 45...  if we wanna look at a problem...

Alright glad to see Ben proving me wrong and continuing to be aggressive in the 3rd. He’s got to keep that up in the 4th if they want to sneak back into this thing.

Honestly the last 9 games the sixers have played Ben really isn’t the biggest issue. He’s averaged 20ppg, 7.6 boards, 7.8 assists and 2.7 turnovers a game. The big three of Embiid, Simmons and harris for the most part have been fine the rest of the team has been super inconsistent or just downright awful/bad when they play. If you get that from Ben along with Harris and embiid you take that. Problem is the sixers pissing away assets and bad moves from the past has caught up with them cause they lack consistency from the bench and really I’m not sure green or curry are starters and not just quality bench guys you have starting and your bench is just not good without shake

Please tell me I’m not the only one that really hates Korkmaz. Dude is a chucker.

They might as well play joe. At least it gives him experience and build towards something in the future being a good nu player. Korkmaz is what he is. He 1 out of 6 games gets hot the rest of the time it’s bad defense and chucking it

Dude just can’t touch the ball without shooting. No matter how well guarded he is. Always throwing up horrible shots.

...within reach? sure.  would be good to pull this one out...  please surprise me like ben has at c.

Green and Korkmaz a combined 0-8 with 0 points , 5 boards, 2 assists and 3 turnovers in 42 mins.

Can’t believe I’m saying this, but if they want any shot at winning they need to run the offense through Simmons. Jazz just have no answer for him.

Maxey has really hit the rookie wall hard. Totally different player than he was early in the season.

Aggressive Simmons is a good player. If he’d play this style of ball on a consistent basis I’d have no issue with him.

40 pts for Ben!  8:40 to go

Seriously, the sad thing is Simmons could do this pretty regularly if he cared to. It’s like he just picks a handful of games each year to really play aggressive.
