Honestly...good job by the front office. They didn't cave to Ben and Rich Paul. Ben and Klutch come out of this looking like idiots if he reports after all this, and it only helps repair his trade value some.

you dont understand the word distraction, you care more about a getting a star than screwing the locker room up and if he screws this team to tank mode, you are getting nothing from him. you overvalue everything, that's why the sixers wont win anything.

The locker probably could give two poos about him at this point.  The only division in the locker room will be Ben vs team.

So if he comes into that locker room with a crap attitude you don’t think guys like Embiid and Harris are going to have a problem with it? Sure. 

Only way he can even begin to save face is to fire Paul and have a press conference where he humbly accepts responsibility for everything and promises to work on the flaws in his game and then goes out and actually does it. 

It's not going to happen, but it's literally the only way to salvage things.

How does he screw up a locker room that thinks he is a bish?  They’ll ignore him and he’ll either ride the pine or do everything he can to up his value so he can’t get the hell out of here.  Screwing up the locker room won’t help with his value

Newsflash: He's already a distraction. Every question is already about Ben. Him coming into the locker room and acting like a child will be...basically the same as it ever was. 

What we saw from Embiid's press conference was that the players don't have Ben's back on this. They tried to go talk to him and he blew them off. So Ben shows up, sulks, and sits on the bench. The players are seemingly united in not giving a damn about him anymore. 

We can give Ben Mike Scott's minutes from last year.

Klutch has to be trying to figure out a way he can come back with without ever setting foot on our home court again.  He knows how bad it will be.  A normal player might be able to handle it, but I doubt he could.

Look....to those saying the FO messed this up, you are absolutely insane....what did you want them to do, cave in, trade him for a future 2nd round pick just to be rid of him?  What the F did this front office do to cause this?  Look, they have absolutely made some mistakes (but I do think we are looking at the last 5 or 6 years from Fultz, to Bridges to Okafor, etc.,) but this FO, with Morey...what has he done wrong?  This is all Simmons and his fragile ego.....

Let him come back, let him play hard, and guess what, his value will go up and yes, we will ship him out and get more in return.  We honestly couldn't get less for him!  And if he does come back playing like crap, you tell him he can sit on the bench and when Orlando, Detroit or the Thunder call, we'll ship him to those shitholes!

Ben's issues are nothing new, they were evident before last season even started, so the one thing that the FO did wrong was they should have traded him early last season, when his stock was much higher.  I'm sure Doc had a lot to do with them not trading him, but they should have.
