The Team Defense is playing lights out. Creating steals, turnovers. Didn't think the Defense would be this good without Simmons. But they are impressive. 35 pts for the Nets halfway through the 2nd Quarter.

The outside shooting is also impressive again tonight. 

He's right around 5MM a season for 3 seasons.  If he doesn't play well enough to earn it, they'll use it to match salaries in a trade at some point.  It would have been nice to get someone useful who missed out on the FA musical chairs on a cheap deal but with our offseason turmoil, none of those guys even gave the 6ers a sniff.

I really think he is better than Kork right now and belongs getting all those minutes. I hate that we extended Kork. The arent going to play Joe over him. But they should.

Joe and Kork can play together. Right now Kork has made 4, 3's in the first half, so far.

The backups just went on a 15-3 run. The steals and defense lead the way. It's impressive. I believe this team is way better than last year. Especially with the 3. 

That finish by Bball Paul was hilariously good. 

 

This is the best preseason game since Ben hit that 1 three and the center exploded.

Korkmaz 27 pts. Joe 20. Lethal combo. And the 4th q just started.

Yeah, especially against the Nets who a lot of people think they already won the Division title and the # 1 seed. Can't wait to see them in the opener when Jo Jo plays the whole game. He's been out since the 1st quarter and lead is growing in a blow out.

Not Sixers related but Jon Gruden is out as Coach of the Raiders. He resigned. Some say the NFL forced him out. 

Ben Simmons is in Philadelphia and will take a Covid test. Looks like the Sixers and Simmons have agreed to terms.

This whole thing is just a huge joke. Princess Ben is a piece of crap human being who cares about 2 things- himself....and his $$$$. The 76ers org is a joke for how they handled the whole thing.... or rather DIDN't handle it. I liked Morey, but now I really wonder. He should have taken what he could get to avoid this mess. Ben in the locker room is a ridiculous thought. And the org is going to allow it? Yup. Unfortunately for the other players, the 76ers are going to get what they asked for: a disgruntled prima donna destroying the team fabric from within. 

Watch him fake an injury now. Well, how does it feel, Ben, to be in a place where you can't show your face on the street? A coward dies a million deaths. THAT is Ben Simmons in a nutshell.

Well let's see. Every Sixer has said the team is better with him then without him. The Head Coach has said the same thing. The Sixers are not going to trade him just to trade him. He tried to pull an Aaron Rodgers and it didn't work. I say Kudos to the Sixers for standing firm. Simmons has no choice now but to return. Hopefully, he can show the NBA he can shoot foul shots and raise his value so teams will make fair offers for him at the trade deadline. Faking an injury is a breach of contract without medical evidence. That's a bit of a stretch. 

I would love to be in the locker room when he returns to hear what he has to say.

Daryl Morey might as well show up at the next press conference wearing a clown nose as he rides a unicycle while juggling a tennis ball, a cat and a bowling pin.   This is going to be a circus!

He liked holding out until he realized he wasn’t going to get paid.   

So now he reports.  Sixers handled this situation about as well as they could have after he refused to report.
