The owners are definitely on the sixers side. And I’m guessing they want to amend the current cba to avoid a player who has 4 years left on a contract to weasel out of his contract cause he doesn’t want to play there anymore

Hmm well when you put it that way, yeah I guess you’re right. Simmons is really good and his feelings are just hurt and we should all wear his jersey to a home game and cheer his name so he’s comfortable enough to come play again.

Listen have you ever noticed that when the city of Philly gets a set apart talent, that the media and fans try to rip that player away from the city? It never fails. And I've never seen that in other teams.

Dude is legit, and he’s pretty much the anti-Simmons. Works hard, listens to vet teammates and coaches. What stood out to me in that piece is how he takes it to heart when Green has gotten on him about passing up open shots. Something Ben has refused to do for years. 
 

I was opposed to including him in a Simmons trade all offseason when it was being mentioned, and at this point he’s close to making himself untouchable. 21-years old and already doing what he does on the court, and getting better all the time? Yeah, you can’t trade that dude. If they were dumb enough to do it, they’d look back on it a few years from now and wonder WTF they were thinking.
