You idiot. You don't know basketball.

Hmm well when you put it that way, yeah I guess you’re right. Simmons is really good and his feelings are just hurt and we should all wear his jersey to a home game and cheer his name so he’s comfortable enough to come play again.

Listen have you ever noticed that when the city of Philly gets a set apart talent, that the media and fans try to rip that player away from the city? It never fails. And I've never seen that in other teams.

Shams is a klutch mouth piece.

yep.

if shams reports it, it's coming from klutch.  if woj reports it, it's coming from the sixers' front office. been that way for a while now.

Dude is legit, and he’s pretty much the anti-Simmons. Works hard, listens to vet teammates and coaches. What stood out to me in that piece is how he takes it to heart when Green has gotten on him about passing up open shots. Something Ben has refused to do for years.

I was opposed to including him in a Simmons trade all offseason when it was being mentioned, and at this point he’s close to making himself untouchable. 21-years old and already doing what he does on the court, and getting better all the time? Yeah, you can’t trade that dude. If they were dumb enough to do it, they’d look back on it a few years from now and wonder WTF they were thinking.

He’s untouchable now IMO in any Simmons trade.

I agree. My only concern is that it seems like Morey is so in on Lillard that if he became available, I could see him including Maxey to get the deal done. I wouldn’t do it, personally. Not trading a 21 year old who is showing star potential for a 30+ year old PG.

There was a random guy a few pages ago. Literally the only person in the world I’ve seen so far.

@JayEcho

from klutch (shams):

Charania alluded to the fact that Simmons’ return to play might not be just a 76ers issue.

"Even if he was traded tomorrow, he wouldn’t just suit up and play. He needs to get right mentally.”

You a$&hole. A blind person knows that if the league chooses your GM thus controlling your ability to pick talent. You're at a disadvantage and they're sabotaging you. Almost everyone out west could be on our team right now. Who gonna guard Kevin Durant? Gianni's? Ben is a crazy good on defense. You knew what he was when you drafted him.

Ben is that you?!? :excited:

Way to pump up that trade value. Who the F is going to trade for this dude anymore?

Don’t care how they get rid of him at this point, just make him go away.

Agree.  I've been with you on that.

Yup.  I've been a big Maxey fan.  I didn't really know much about him coming out of college.  I just saw his quickness, work ethic and quite frankly personality and had a gut feeling he could be an All-Star level player at some point.  He kind of reminded me of Fox as a player except he didn't run the point in Kentucky.  He's not at that level yet but he's got more potential as a shooter already.

Funny thing- I HATED the pick because we needed shooting and he wasn't a shooter. He changed my tune real quick in his rookie year.

I mean he really has every tool in the bag on offense and has the explosiveness to keep defenders off balance.  He can finish well at the rim, can hit you with a floater and his pull up game is coming along.  Just a matter of him perfecting everything.  Unlike dickbag simmons, I have faith he'll put in the work on the aspects of his game that need work.

Disagree. If his trade value is irreparable at this point and he’s not willing to play ball, fine him and let him rot. F him.

Is Springer hurt? Why didn't he play in the G League game?

https://gleague.nba.com/games/20211106/LINDEL/

he was called up to the sixers with all the guys they've had out...but he's heading back down for tonight's game:

Philadelphia 76ers rookies Jaden Springer and Aaron Henry have been assigned to the Delaware Blue Coats in the NBA G League, according to Ky Carlin of Sixers Wire.

Springer and Henry have seen minimal playing time with the Sixers, each logging just two minutes of action. They previously participated with the Blue Coats during their training camp last month and are now expected to play with them on Friday versus the Maine Celtics.

Funny part is they have the same trainer.

Yep Ben in Slavery. And I ain't received my reparations yet. You could fix this easily. But you won't because you don't value who got you here and who can keep you on top. If Ben represents Sampson, by all means don't let the building fall on you.
