i think it was just bs speculation on siriusxm nba radio but they were talking about the sixers attaching a 1st round pick to tobi & trading him to okc for derrick favors. that would help the sixers' cap situation this summer & put more pressure on the nets to get something for harden now rather than possibly lose him for nothing in the offseason. 

idk if there's anything to it or if the dude was just making sheet up....but that could be the strategy around moving tobi.

Imagine trading Harris now, for trash, and then still not landing the free agent.

it would be risky....but i guess being out from under tobi's contract would be a good thing.

That’s the only benefit if they lose out on harden  

However if you pulled it off so you did clear enough space to just sign harden, got him then could use Ben in another trade to add around embiid, maxey, thybulle and harden. I still don’t know how they could just sign harden (if trade Harris) considering embiid and Simmons contracts

Honestly I’m not even a Harden guy, but if it’s the deal that has to happen to get Ben out of here then so be it.

i'm right there with you...never liked harden's style of play. but if they only give up ben, green, & a pick, i can't complain. 

 

[James Stewart] Heard the Nets, 76ers, Pelicans and Thunder were / are trying to figure out a deal with James Harden, Tobias Harris and Ben Simmons as part of it. James Harden would end up in Philly.

It makes the Sixers better if that hammy can stay healthy but I think it makes the Nets even better if they can get Green as well. 

I'm not sure Simmons could find a better landing spot besides playing with a guy like KAT.

I’m guessing hield likely gets dealt sometime in the next year from Indy. 

I'm not a big Harris fan, but it's a shame they have to give up assets to move him. I honestly think the Kings trade would have been better for them going forward.
