Good for both teams. Surprised Pacers couldn't find a 3rd team for Buddy

Other guy is Holiday

So no kings trade.  Not even for Harris.

It's looking like our last and only hope is Harden. All eggs in that basket.

Only hope is Beal calls the FO and wants out

I like that trade more for Indy. I think haliburton was going to be a Star anyway but with better coaching from Carlisle i think the pacers are going to be thrilled with this trade going forward.

Pretty much confirms that Hali and Hield were offered for ben and Morey said no because he wanted Fox.

Kings held on to Fox and moved on to make a deal with someone else.

Morey Fd that up big time.  What else is new.

Morey and the Sixers left holding the bag and looking Fing dumb.  Again.  They’ll get another buyout player to do nothing in the postseason.

He really did and that kid will be good in Indy. He got obsessed with Harden who will be on the decline in a year or two if not sooner with that hamstring while that kid continues to get better. If he walks this summer I hope he is fired on the spot.

i don't think morey wanted to wait for hali to develop into a player that would help embiid win a championship. that window is small.

C’mon Morey.

[James Stewart] Heard the Nets, 76ers, Pelicans and Thunder were / are trying to figure out a deal with James Harden, Tobias Harris and Ben Simmons as part of it. James Harden would end up in Philly.

sort of lines up with what i posted from siriusxm radio earlier with tobi & a pick going to okc...possibly for derrick favors.

That would have been awful value.

Haliburton and Hield are probably enough to help Embiid win one right now. Then, he could have still added Harden in the Summer because SAC was also willing to take Harris in the deal.

yep.

First San Antonio extended White. Then, we passed on Murray.

Then Chicago became a super team and LaVine didnt need to get out.

Then, Brogdon got extended and couldnt be traded.

Then we waited on Portland. Harris for McCollum made sense. They were willing to do McCollum for Ben. We waited on Lillard. Waited too long, to the point where they decided to blow up their team. So then they werent even interested in Harris because they were just clearing cap.

Cleveland was interested but he wanted Sexton AND Garland, AND Nance. Dont know where we stand with them.

Minnesota was interested but he wants Anthony Edwards.

Detroit was interested but he wanted Grant AND Cunningham.

We maybe had hope that some other team was going to boost their offer when they felt Harden was becoming a real option for us. But at this point, all of our options have dwindled. Its pretty much Harden or bust. And If Im Minnesota Im looking at Philly in a position of weakness once again. I wouldnt be boosting that offer. Id call Philly's bluff and let them waste resources on broken down Harden.

Why not? 2 games out of first with Ben’s ****-ass sulking instead of playing. They’re already contenders in the East with Jo playing the way he is this year. Adding those two pieces would have definitely helped.

they were also taking the Harris contract. It was an excellent deal for us. It accomplished cap space, and provided us 2 excellent young players.

have you noticed how well embiid is playing. Even Morey realizes it and said he doesnt necessarily need a top 30 player anymore.

They may be contenders in the East, but not for a title.

so you like Embiid and Harden instead of Embiid, Haliburton, Hield, and Harden.

Not sure how you can explain that preference.

Haliburton had a great game the other night against the Sixers.  He’s not usually that good.

Fox didnt play. He is usually that good when not playing with Fox.

I like Haliburton.  Hield sucks at the price of his contract.  Take Harris and Haliburton would be a net zero this season.  Haliburton isn't taking this team to the next level.

Getting Harden and unloading Harris to OKC is ideal.

No idea where to find these splits, but he is far more productive when he’s not playing with Fox.

We would have had Barnes in place of Harris in that trade.

Youd be adding Hield and Haliburton for Ben.

Youd have cap cleared in the summer to make the move for Harden then.
