I agree it's a bad deal giving a dude that doesn't want to stay in shape 55 million at 35. Heck, I wanted Murray and Haliburton but since the rumors peaked up Morey has gone all in Harden and he won't rest until he gets a deal done.

It will certainly kill our cap for the next 4-5 years but Maxey will be on a rookie contract for 3 more years after this which will help a bit.  In all sports, the back end of a contract for a super star always looks terrible.  You just hope for a Championship within the next 2 years.

I don’t believe it.  I bet the Nets are laughing their asses off right now and Morey and the speculation.  Morey will look like a bigger fool than he does now.  But if we make the deal, it’s a mistake.  I think the Nets will try to win it this year with their 3 stars.

If Harden is pressing to get out and they can get an All Defensive player under contract for a few more years then I can see them making a deal if they can squeeze Green and Curry out of it. 

We all crap on Simmons but this is the absolute perfect situation for him and not sure I would be so willing to give Nets Simmons.
