I am in no way attached to Thybulle.  But you don't give him,  or Drummond in this deal 

Curry and/or Philly hating Danny Green can go. And getting back Mills is awesome. But no reason to give any young prospects to a team with no leverage. Or, our only backup center.

This doesn't surprise me. I've met several eagles and most are really great guys. Brian Dawkins for example, is insanely nice. Sometimes you can just kind of tell form how they carry themselves.

I am a big Woj fan but i'm 99.9% sure he is not right and the teams are negotiating. No Maxey, probably no Thybulle. Still not confident a deal gets done b/c Nets are not budging at the moment.

just from what i have heard, Nets are not moving off their high asking price. Source expects that to drop a bit tomorrow but i think this will roll into the offseason.

Met Dawk in 2018 with my brother. I was in town for the Eagles/Panthers game where they gave him his hall of fame ring. I had won a charity auction for a tour of Novacare, pre-game field passes, seats to the game, etc. They put us up at the Courtyard at the Navy Yard (poor style), and we walked in and saw Dawk and his wife eating breakfast. I didn't want to bother him, but my brother is a huge fan so we went over and...he couldn't have been nicer. Talked to us for a few minutes (his wife was really nice) and insisted on taking a picture. Great dude.

I have heard the Tobias to OKC chatter but sounds like that is just to pressure Nets.

Problem is they have very few trade chips to update the guard/wing position.

if Harden deal does not get done, i would just expect a small deal like George Hill last year.

Setting up for a big summer where they will dump Tobias and trade Ben/sign Harden.

I dont know how a deal can get done if the Nets even think its close enough to ask for what theyve reportedly asked for. I would think they are so far away from reality that they wont agree by tomorrow.

I hope Daryl will pivot to something else rather than let another team play him right up till the final buzzer and lose. 

 

And, the pivot better not be trading Harris for trash. Because last year we thought we were getting Lowry. And when we didnt we thought he would want to sign here in the Summer. And then, he didnt.  That can happen with Harden. 

Id look to trade Harris for Grant. So if you are left without Harden, at least you traded Harris for something decent. Grant will be a 20M expiring contract to move in the summer. Thats doable if we need to move it to make room for Harden.

I dont know how Morey can sell the fans on weakening the team before the deadline when he could have had so many deals done to strengthen the team by now.

so does ben sit out for the entire season?  imagine the reaction if he actually does report back to the sixers in order to get paid. now that would be a sheetshow!
