Nice game from Maxey. It was such a massive win to get the Ben trade done without having to part with either him or Thybulle. 

There were a couple of sequences last night where Thybulle had back to back corner back-like interceptions and then Maxey with the step back that I wanted to bear hug Morey.  The fact that we made this trade but get to watch these two continue their development here is huge.

Not for nothing but there was an interesting little gem last night for those of you obsessed with Kate Scott.  Earlier in the week Anthony Gargano was on his show and mentioned how he was somewhat bothered that other media folks use his catch phrases and terms without any acknowledgement of his show.  He specifically referenced Katie saying "Play The Song" at the end of one of the recent wins.  He wasn't overly mean about it from what I could tell but he did seem a  little bothered.  She called The Cuz the next day to discuss it and clear the air.

Go back and listen to the end of last night's game and you'll notice that when Kate said "Play The Song" she then says something like "...as Anthony Gargano from our sister station the Fanatic would say..."

I say that to say that she clearly has rabbit ears.  All you dudes slamming her on Twitter and whatnot, you better watch your backs.

She went on a Twitter rant a few weeks ago about people criticizing her. 

Of course it was framed as sexism. 

I'll pay her the biggest compliment I can give her..... I put her on par with men..... With that being said, she sucks because she's annoyingly fake and gets overly excited about everything and I hate her voice. 

I hate the Flyers radio guy for the same reason.

Naw Ben Simmons is way worse than Carson wentz. Wentz didn’t use mental health issues to try to get paid for sitting out for a season. Carson wentz declined in performance but it was never him not trying to get better in the offseason or lack of work ethic (more not listening to coaches). Ben never tried to get better shooting and even said it is what it is. We can say both quit on their teams (don’t actually think wentz quit, he asked to be traded after the season) but Ben legit tried to weasel his way out of game 7 using Covid. So he used mental health issues to get paid and then also tried to use Covid to get out of game 7 vs hawks
