Wouldn’t have needed to call a timeout with a better play prior. 

Love that Embiid nailed that clutch shot. However I’d love to see maxey with the ball in his hands around 7-8 seconds,  let him use his speed and athleticism to create chaos on the defense. I think with his speed he could get Toronto scrambling. he might get a good look or pull a defender and possibly get Embiid on the pass or the extra pass. Like embiid having the last shot. Not sure i want to run the clock down and ask him to break his defender down from the three point line with 3-4 seconds to shoot

So the difference in this game has been the turnovers. Take care of the ball in the 2nd half, we should be able to eek this one out. If Embiid gets going, then we should run away with it at some point.

His defense was really good today. Had some clutch shots and didn’t have stupid turnovers. I’ll take it.

I still think maxey’s speed could get the Toronto defense off balanced and scrambling. Anything is better than embiid just holding the ball at the 3 point line, letting the clock run down and then being forced into a tough three. I love embiid but it’s not ideal

He's salty the sixers won. He's a Memphis fan.  And a racist for preferred white guy winning mvp because of color of his skin thanks to analytics made up by white guys.   Big win enjoy.  

I actually liked Maxey having to handle the ball in OT.  He put pressure on the defense with his speed.  Also made a bad pass and missed a wild 3 though…

Memphis won’t get to the finals.

It’s really a shame that James Harden doesn’t have the same burst to get by his defender that he had a couple seasons ago.  if he had that still along with maxey and embiid that the offense would be at a ridiculous level.

They kept saying the ball looked like it was still going up.  But in the one replay you could see part of the ball was already over the cylinder.
