Amazing win obviously. Tobias has been so good. I think I’m changing my mind on his ability to play and especially defend at the 3.  His defense has significantly improved. Now he’s out there defending Gary Trent Jr on the perimeter with no help.

He’s definitely been really good in this series. I’m curious to see how he does against Miami next round and if we run into Boston or Milwaukee. We really need him playing at this level for those series.  

Tobi was insane defensively.  A clinic.  What has gotten into him? 

Not for nothing but the happiest player on the roster has to  be Matisse.

Great win! So psyched I’m on the way to the US now and can watch game 4 and then all other games for a couple weeks. My wife is going to love it, haha.

I wouldn’t quite say they were intentionally trying to do that but I am starting to think they just weren’t particularly concerned about their seeding in the last 2-3 weeks so didn’t really care to exert themselves 100%. Definitely look like a whole different team in the postseason so far.

Yes, so he can score zero points in the 4th quarter and give up a dunk to pass that would put them in the lead and gain momentum!!  Besides bricking half his free throws!  The second he walks on the court, if I'm Boston.....Hack a Ben begins.

I’m convinced he’s not playing this year unless they go to the second round which is doubtful.  I expect them to get eliminated and then announce Ben would have played in whichever the next game would have been if it had been played.

I had to check back in on the Simmons thread on the Nets message board. They are eagerly awaiting for Simmons to play and some think he will be ready as early as next game. Not only that, they posted a video of Ben scoring 42 points in 2020 and said " we need that”. Get your popcorn ready. If we sweep, their game 4 is on Monday. I hope he plays!!

as much as i rip on rivers, i have to give him credit so far in this series. calling that timeout with .9 to go on the shot clock was huge.

Meh, I made this comment last night but also threw in that they wouldn't have been in that crap position if it wasn't for docs crap play calling 2 times in a row that put Embiid in terrible position in the first place.

That too

i give glenn credit for calling the timeout...dialing up that zone defense that seemed to give toronto problems...and for not playing jordan over paul reed this series. but i also thought they played way too much iso on offense last night...just clearing out and going 1 on 1 instead of moving the ball like they did in games 1 & 2. they were able to get away with it against the raptors...barely....but they can't pull that sheet against the heat in round 2.
