Masters was always lame, I think it's been treated with favorable nostalgia between the memes and the surprisingly watchable Kevin Smith run. But it was always lame-o.

No doubt, but that doesnt prevent a decent movie from being made.

Kevin Smith did a LOT of reading between the lines to produce something intriguing, and even then there wasn't much to hook you for the 2nd season. It's not a good IP, never was.

Yeah, I agreed, and still dont think that means they HAD to make such a crap film lol

I had some hopes for it as a comedy but was only going to watch if the reviews were good. Guess not.

I only went to see it because there wasnt anything else I haven't seen in my "lane", and for nostalgia like you said.

Dear god, the movie never stood a chance.

Perhaps just lay down a bunt, Jared?

It looks like it started with being in 3,677 theaters and now it’s around 2,500

Correction, it's actually down to 2090 theaters.

Yeah, Project Hail Mary was good. Maybe a hair too long, seemed like every time they were wrapping it up there was another scene. Not that it dragged, even the scenes at the end were enjoyable and added to the story. It was nice to see The Rock in a movie without makeup.

Who the Hell was this movie for? Way too long and nerdy for kids, way too emotionally retarded for adults.

Oh, you. Yeah that tracks.

Last weekend Masters was 6th in the box office. This weekend it was 9th grossing only 2.22 million. I'd be shocked if it was in theaters much longer.

Looks like it’s ending its theatrical run. Didn’t even register on the box office results the past few days.

Edit: Finally registered. As of 7/5 down to 920 theaters and placed 11th pulling in $211k (Last weekend came in 11th and pulled in $724k)

Finally saw Obsession and Backrooms. Pretty overhyped but at least Backrooms felt more original. Obsession was just another "be careful what you wish for" movie

Jeez, I am really sorry that feel good movies that resonate with virtually everyone who sees them make you so miserable. Maybe talk to your doctor about that.

You mean to tell me that an over acting hippie isn’t a bigger box office draw?

Citizen Vigilante is hilariously bad lol

Live action Moana was too soon after the animated ones to begin with, plus no one likes the live action remakes anyway. Cost $250m to make, only made $42m opening weekend. The animated ones were huge hits.

Didn't the second one come out only a couple of years ago?

They really need to make an animated version of the live action Moana.

Regal says I have seen 37 films so far this year. Will be 38 tomorrow with Odyssey in standard IMAX. I am getting some car maintenance done 2 hours away since I now live in whitetrash America and don't have any garages that can provide annual service, so decided to go to Syracuse Fri morning and fit in both Odyssey in IMAX and 18 holes of golf (with a friend who is joining). Only realized a few days ago that Rochester (similar distance away) has a 70mm IMAX... but of course there are no appointments open at the dealership there (and pretty much all the good seats are booked)... so I will not get the A+ experience for this film sad

First off.........thank you so much for explaining your whole car service conundrum. Really great story, and it makes me very sad that you won't see it on the 70mm.

Secondly......I am seeing in tonight. In 70mm. So suck it iron covers!!

I did check Rochester but they don’t have any good seats available tomorrow (or car appt slots).

I thought Odyssey was pretty incredible.
