I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I’ll refresh your memory. I had asked @Giddyunc to cite some examples of BLM leaders advocating segregation and he quoted several articles, none of which advocated segregation although several requested that whites not lead marches but appear only in supporting roles.

You decided to pile on, accusing me, rightfully, of being emotional on the subject.

Emotion is not an unclean thing, much as you seem to imply it to be. Love of children, love of spouse, love of country, love of justice, these are all good things and more than that, they are motivation to action, to raise a child, support a spouse, defend a country, or seek justice. How one does that will indeed involve rational thought, but the emotion precedes  it.

Not that it matters a lick but I have been hospitalized several days awaiting a procedure to take place today so my time and energy have in general been devoted elsewhere.

Not to worry, I’m too curmudgeonly to die anytime soon.

Emotion is NOT a bad thing. It just has to be tempered with a bit of logic.

Good luck with your procedure. I wish the best for you

Must not have watched the film on Boobie.  Got to figure the JJAW is usual Spads propaganda.  Bruce Hector may be a message to Malik Jackson.  Hope he is right about Singleton but I had him at best as the #6 LB.

I think you are spot on with the JJAW propaganda. Hector might have been a message. I’m surprised they didn’t use rush over hector to do so if that were the case.

Man, I agree!  Both would be huge adds.

What a ****.

I mean, great move to make some cash.  But an absolute **** of a move by this guy.

The guy said he would hand over the trademark for free.

Hector makes better sense as a back up to Cox than Rush, who is a NT type and fits better backing up Hargrave’s spot.

Right.  I'm sure JJAW's "contested catches" in college are even better..............because he can't get any separation.

Don't worry he won the player of the offseason award. I smell superbowlzzzz

I would dispute that. Cox is a much bigger man than either Hargrave or Hector. Hargrave, though he was listed as an NT at Pittsburgh, did not really play that as a pure position. He’s maybe 300-305. Rush otoh goes 350 or so. I see the Eagles resting Cox for a series here and there and playing Rush with three pass rushers.

But not at all realistic.

I don’t see why they take on Alshon, he’s an albatross contract. They may do Malik and a 1 for Adams alone. But I’m not so sure he fits their D. I could see Douglas wanting Goedert and/or Maddox though.

Griffin > Clowney for me, given the cost. We're also better equipped for Griffin's issues with mental health. If we made it work with Brooks, we can do it with Griffin.

Rush is also light on his feet for a big man, he's not one of these Sumo wrestler NTs who can only move two steps off the snap.

I cant find where the hell to bet on the next name of washington. I would have bet on the redwolves ever since I saw the tweet uni mock up days ago. And I really want to even more so today.

Cant find it on draft kings, fanduel, or even Bovada. Anyone know?

I'd love Griffin.  Would add some much needed stability to the passrush.

And agreed with Robinson.  This is going to be a very unconventional next 6-8 months.  Everything's in flux

Still would have taken Snyder to school if it were me.

Ikr?  I'd ask for a cool million, no questions asked.  No publicity.

I like Rush. A bigger guy like Beau Allen did fine in Schwartz system. I think Rush can fill a similar role.

I was basing that on where they played Rush last year. You could be right.

Hope the procedure isn’t major and a speedy recovery.  Take care of yourself.
