Age though. He’ll be like 33 by the time he played his next game.

Double edged sword.  Don't have to commit big money to him.

Maybe a double add of Griffin AND Adams?

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I don’t see why they take on Alshon, he’s an albatross contract. They may do Malik and a 1 for Adams alone. But I’m not so sure he fits their D. I could see Douglas wanting Goedert and/or Maddox though.

Give them Ertz before goedert.

I’ll refresh your memory. I had asked @Giddyunc to cite some examples of BLM leaders advocating segregation and he quoted several articles, none of which advocated segregation although several requested that whites not lead marches but appear only in supporting roles.

You decided to pile on, accusing me, rightfully, of being emotional on the subject.

Emotion is not an unclean thing, much as you seem to imply it to be. Love of children, love of spouse, love of country, love of justice, these are all good things and more than that, they are motivation to action, to raise a child, support a spouse, defend a country, or seek justice. How one does that will indeed involve rational thought, but the emotion precedes  it.

Not that it matters a lick but I have been hospitalized several days awaiting a procedure to take place today so my time and energy have in general been devoted elsewhere.

Not to worry, I’m too curmudgeonly to die anytime soon.

Agree 100%.

By the way, if you do kick off, can I have your library??

...too soon??...B-)

Seriously, keeping a good thought for a positive outcome for you.

Stay strong. :showoff:

In what way? Just how is it wrong for those citizens who are mistreated by their country to speak up on their own behalf? They are not asking white people for anything; they are demanding equal treatment before the law as citizens.

When MLK stated his dream that people will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character, do you think he envisioned this only for his four daughters? Do you think he was advocating for colorblindness to be applied selectively? Do you think he wanted people not to judge an individual based on their race if they were only black? Do you think he wanted society to judge white people by the color of their skin, not the content of their character

And you state that BLM "is not asking white people for anything; they are demanding equal treatment under the way." When you demand policy that is predicted on the separation of races, you are not demanding equal protection, you are demanding preferential treatment.

Side note: I was there last night when a 1 year old was shot and killed in Brooklyn. I wonder when there will be a protest. I wonder when there will be an international fundraising campaign organized by ActBlue. I wonder when the highly degreed (yet highly ignorant) educators will explore what "systemic" issues led to this. I'd love to ask Malcolm Jenkins if this black life mattered, or if this is just another "distraction" from his movement.

The funniest thing about calling BLM a "terrorist group" is after actually reading their mission statement on their site, I'd figure most "black terrorist types" would run screaming from them - not exactly the macho pose you usually associate with "terrorist types", more of a radical feminist screed meshed to a Black agenda.

"We are guided by the fact that all Black lives matter, regardless of actual or perceived sexual identity, gender identity, gender expression, economic status, ability, disability, religious beliefs or disbeliefs, immigration status, or location. We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead. We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence. We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered."

Of course, this is the problem in the age of media overkill, hype overcomes reality every time. How many reporters actually went to the BLM site?

And why "self-appointed spokes(wo)men are just that, BLM has become a label adopted by many who would never ascribe to the actual philosophy of BLM. I suspect if someone ran a poll, most declaring themselves for BLM have never visited the BLM website. So who does the BLM leadership actually speak for, other than themselves?

Which also shows how Djax probably got caught up, like many, he jumped on something without actually examining what he was resending, something the GO does on a regular basis, retweeting white supremacist propaganda. This is the danger of social media, you see something that sounds right to you, and don't bother to read the whole message, or examine the source - choosing only to see what you want to see. Dog whistles not only signal to the initiated, they seduce the ignorant. Farrakhan actually says many things that would be very appealing to an otherwise moderate Black man, Black pride, self-reliance, etc., it's only when you research the history, or read closely all his speeches, that his evil nature becomes apparent. But you could say the same for most white nationalists, many couch their messages in sheep's clothing as well.

Then of course, there's George Wallace and Strom Thurmond, they gladly showed their wolves' teeth - but that was a different era.

Ehhh...  I just don't know if it's smart to do it now.  I have all the faith in the world in Carson.  I think as a coaching staff you have to have the WR group shake out so you know what you have there before sending 86 on his way.

Just not sure...

That's just categorically false.

Must not have watched the film on Boobie.  Got to figure the JJAW is usual Spads propaganda.  Bruce Hector may be a message to Malik Jackson.  Hope he is right about Singleton but I had him at best as the #6 LB.

My assumption is that there was some level of objective measure to determine the offseason workout winners.

Yeah i know its iffy sending Ertz but from a financial standpoint it would make more sense.

Biggest problem i would see is loss of as a 2nd TE as if Goedert were starter there is nothing behind him as of now.

There was a Josh Perkins workout blurb earlier this year...

Still would have taken Snyder to school if it were me.

Trademark challenges and infringement cases usually are resolved with a licensing agreement like A&M and the Seahawks.

How are they gonna start the NBA season? I bet that doesn’t happen either.

They will and guys will test positive, even star players.  If they do, they'll treat it like an injury and the player has to sit for 2 weeks.  Itll be unfortunate if it happens to Lebron or Kawhi during the Finals or conference finals but that's life.

Forgot about Perkins. Hes not much of a TE rather just a big receiver but Ertz is really just a big receiver as well.

they reportedly have had 0 positive tests since entering the bubble. Westbrook's was before he entered the bubble.
