Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I know it's all hype at this point, but I am intrigued by the reports of Hightower and Watkins.  Hightower seems intelligent since he knew how to play every WR position in college, and Watkins coach is on record with reviews that make you wonder why he lasted until the 7th.  There was no buzz on JJAW.   He made contested catches in college.  Yippee.

Again, I know it's all speculation, but every WR drafted (including Reagor) seems to have some sort of edge to them, and I'm excited to see these guys very soon.  Who is taking over Don as the twitter update specialist during training camp?  Those were the best threads ever.

I usually pay close attention to the WR position. I think WR in the Eagles offense is among the more important positions for it to run at 100%.  It helps open everything else up.

That said, both Watkins and Hightower would have likely been at least 3rd round picks just about any other year, imo.

There is some semantics involved here. There’s a cavernous amount of space between pinching to stop outside runs and QB scrambles and blindly rushing the passer like Babin. Graham and Barnett aren’t failing to reach 10 sacks because of the scheme. It’s because Graham’s best rush move on the outside is a bull rush instead of cornering. That’s good for pressures but not necessarily big sack numbers. That’s not a knock, it’s just how it is. As for Barnett, he tends to take wide rush lanes, giving a lot of space for QBs to escape. He’s also not good enough yet to be a double digit sack guy. He misses a lot of layups for a DE, failing to finish the play. That’s maddening.

As for calling Avery and Sweat speed rushers on third down, there’s nothing on film to support that with Sweat. He wins with length and power. He doesn’t play with much speed or athleticism. Avery... I’m optimistic he can be used in a variety of rushing roles on third down.

So now you don't think Clowney will fit our system?

Thoughts on the new Ford Bronco?  If I had the funds for a 2nd vehicle, I think the 2-door would be great for trips to the shore and weekend fun.

looks dopey

Looks like a Micro Machine, for those old enough to get the reference.

So nothing new on the Deadskins name?

They’re ok. Too boxey. Two door looks like a Jeep.

I had a HUGE collection of Micro Machines.  Might be why it speaks to me a bit.  It's very cartoony which is why it could never be a daily.  I'm sure the aftermarket will be loaded with stuff.

This is really good news for the Eagles.

I'm guessing the majority of us on here.  Seems a good bit are at least 30+ here.

I haven't seen any pricing yet.  I'm guessing it will start in the 30s with some of the 4 door models reaching high 60s.  It's crazy how much cars cost anymore.  It's so interesting to me watching some of these restoration shows and guys talk about buying their 1970 Barracuda for $3,000 off the lot.

Went to have some work done on my truck yesterday. The mechanic has a 1996 F350 diesel dually in the bay with less than 100,000 miles. The owner had just bought it for $2,500.

I almost cried.

It's so much fun to drive a stick. I am still contemplating getting my midlife crisis car. If I do I'm leaning stick just for the fun of it.

To the contrary, I think he’s a perfect fit...on the field. Off the field and under the cap are issues I am not competent to judge, but his game is more power than speed and he’s hell against the run.

Since I believe there will not be a season, all of this is moot.

So that was the boil down of afans post imo. That Clowney wouldn't fit here. That's the silly part to me.

When is your procedure?
