Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

While I suspect Peters will be fine at RG, too many folks are taking the transition for granted. It’s not that easy.

To a point. Expecting HOF guard play IMO is too much. Peters should be able to be a solid starter though.

i don't see peters being able to pull on run plays and get out in front of the RB , run gets blown up for 2 yard loss.

I would have expected him to turn that back inside and punish people

I thought Peters would move to LG at some point, RG is actually easier athletically (don't pull as much), though Peters, unless he totally falls off a cliff, could handle either one.

Screen right could be awesome with Kelce, Peters and Lane.

Peters is in many ways as close to Brooks as you can find in terms of the combination of power and athleticism and smarts.

How many 340 lb guards can hit targets 10+ yards past the LOS?

Yup, i think peters will be fine at RG, i always thought his body type was more suited to guard anyway.

I’d be very confident if it were LG. Since he’s changing sides, that complicates things.

Bulk Foods in Gordonville

On Centerville Rd.

The Stoltzfus brand sausage is amazing.

There was a market in Lancaster called Darrenkamps.  Family owned Sure Fine store, I think 3 locations.  They had the absolute best chicken sausage ever.  So many different flavors.  Their chicken parmesan was out of this world.  Sadly, the kids didn't want to take over the family business and they shuttered about 2 years ago.  Still trying to find a selection like theirs.

I'm not taking it for granted. He's Jason Fricken Peters. The man, the myth, the legend.

I don't call 3 mill heavy bucks. I know there is incentives that can make it 6 but I dont know what the exact incentives are but don't think it reach it.

What has Mailata been able to show that would give them any reason whatsoever that he’s ready to be the swing tackle? He hasn’t been healthy enough to show he’s up to the task, and he lost incredibly valuable offseason time to work on it.

That doesn’t mean they’re down on him, but it certainly says something about his 2020 prospects.

I don't know what he has been able to show and what the coaches think of him.  I just don't view this move as having anything to do with him necessarily at this point. I think you're reading into what it says about his prospects for making the team.

I haven’t said anything about his prospects of making the team, only his prospects of being the swing tackle in 2020.

Just so everyone is on the same page cap-wise, if Peters makes 3M in 2020, we're adding 2.3M to our cap spending. The cap only takes the top 51 contracts, excluding dead money, so we have to remove contract #52 from cap spending.

That's a shame.

This place seemed to only have pork sausage... they had 'original', 'apple/maple' and 'italian - sweet'.   I got the original and the apple/maple... frankly, I don't think they will offer the best 'Italian', though... that could just be me being biased.  But, when it comes to 'Country' sausage, the Amish know what they are doing.

They have a little bit of everything.  Spices, dried herbs, etc.  I go there primarily for that, because that's the cheapest I've ever seen that stuff.

As we were there, two Amish buggies pulled in.   Very quaint.  No one wearing a mask there but us 'English'.  lol  And you know what... it didn't bother me one bit.

How is Peters going to play swing tackle and RG?

Looks like a Micro Machine, for those old enough to get the reference.

You didn't type this post nearly fast enough for it to be a Micro Machine....

I think they’d move him to LT and make Pryor the RG if Dillard is hurt. And yes, I’m aware they don’t like moving two players to accommodate one injury, but I think it makes too much sense to move him back to his natural position.

I also shouldn’t have used spaces between any of the words. That would have added to the effect.

Wow... that seems like a targeted ban on the Mummer's Parade.

Mixed feelings on Peters at RG. Who loses a spot?

So who is the backup for when Peters takes himself out?

Pryor just got pushed back to backup from the sound of it.   Brooks sits on PUP and/or IR.   So... Peters basically takes the spot Brooks would have.

Pryor seems the likely answer.

Yea, Brooks to IR.  No one really loses a roster spot.  The young guys can still develop.  I want to see what Herbig, Opeta, Pryor and the rookie from Auburn can do....name slipping my mind.
